Growl near CleElum To The East, Or Snoqualmie Pass To The West, Washington (2020)
The witness and a companion were camping beside a creek in July 2020. Shortly after nightfall they heard a deep loud growl from about 10 feet inside the treeline and retreated to their vehicle. From the vehicle they then heard three loud tree knocks across the road, branch snapping, and a single additional knock farther away, but saw nothing when shining a flashlight.
Road crossing sighting on Hwy 109 near Mt. Gilead and Uwharrie National Forest
The witness was riding in a car north of Mt. Gilead around noon when an entity appeared about 200 feet ahead. It crossed the highway in two bounds within five to six seconds and headed toward railroad tracks, disappearing before the car reached the spot. The driver did not see it because he was looking in the side mirror at a car behind.
"Ohio howls" at Ozette Lake in NW corner of Olympic Pennisula
The witness was camped with two companions around a fire after dark and howled to try to get a response. The witness reports hearing answering howls 10-12 times, coming progressively closer from about a mile away to about an eighth to a quarter mile. The companions retreated to the RV while the witness scanned the trees with a flashlight holding a revolver, after which the replies stopped.
Wood knock near Salem, Indiana (2020)
The witness and a companion were hiking a loop trail when they heard a very loud, sharp knock from a steep hilltop above them. They stopped to scan the ridgeline but saw nothing due to dense vegetation. The witness then heard a brief sound of movement in the brush uphill before they continued back to the trailhead.
Sighting of a Sasquatch crossing forest road off I-20 near AL/GA state border
The witness rode as a passenger in a car with three relatives on a back road after leaving the interstate. About 50 yards ahead, a huge wide-shouldered figure ran across the road on two legs into dense woods. The witness and the driving daughter saw the crossing, with the witness reporting more detail about its size and shape. A pack of dogs was noticed sniffing and acting excited on the road just past the crossing point.
Tracks Reported 5/24/2020 Lewis County Washington
The witness was hiking with family to a series of caves in the early afternoon. The witness and a relative each noticed a footprint in moss along the way, about 200 yards from the caves and about 20 feet apart. The witness photographed the prints with a water bottle and foot for scale. No other unusual activity, sounds, or sightings were reported.
Knocks heard from Great Croton Swamp south of Pawling
The witness was sitting alone by a campfire late at night when they heard something moving through woods toward neighboring houses, sounding bipedal. Several minutes later they heard a distant wood knock to one side, an answering knock from the opposite direction, then another knock from the first direction. The witness described the sequence as an instantaneous call and response in an otherwise quiet neighborhood.
Vocalizations near the summit of Silver Star Mountain
A couple hiked to the top of Silver Star Mountain and stopped to rest and eat. The witness heard a loud two-part whoop from a valley to the north, then heard it again about 15 minutes later and a companion also heard the second sound. They waited in silence without further sounds and then hiked back down without seeing the source.
Father & daughter sighting in Yellowwood State Forest
The witness and a young relative were turkey hunting in a state forest in the morning when the relative first spotted a figure. The witness then watched a grey, powerfully built figure about six feet tall move away from them, covering over 50 meters in seconds. They later retraced the same route and found it took them about six minutes.
Possible daylight sighting near Missouri River and Katy Trail outside Hartsburg
On a sunny late morning the witness was driving slowly south on a rural road south of town. He saw a large upright figure crossing ahead, coming from the direction of the river and heading toward the bluffs. The figure walked very quickly with long strides and swinging arms across an open planted field. The witness followed briefly by vehicle but remained about 100 yards away before the figure disappeared into woods after about one to two minutes.
Wood knock near Putnam County (2020)
During lockdown the witness sat by a backyard fire late at night when loud wood-knock-like impacts exchanged between a tree patch near the school and the swampland. Several knocks went back and forth with a pause. The witness reported it to BFRO the next day and later learned of connected woodlands and investigations nearby.
Sasquatch snow tracks found at first seasonal entry onto Weyerhaeuser land near Vanson Lake
The witness reported finding weeks-old tracks in deep snow on a logging road area described as undisturbed by humans for months. The trackway reportedly continued for about 800 yards with large footprints and a long step in about five feet of packed snow. The witness took photos and video of the tracks on visits on April 24th and 25th.
Possible sighting at base of Black Mountain outside Crab Orchard
The witness was walking through a field with family members near the base of Black Mountain. He reported seeing a large black creature move into the treeline at the end of the field. He described it as walking on two legs with a human- or ape-like backside and bipedal movement.
Possible knock heard from Little Miami Bike Trail near Ft. Ancient
The witness was cycling back toward Morrow on the Little Miami Bike Trail when he heard a single loud, crisp knock from atop the hill to the east. He saw no other people on that stretch and found no obvious human or natural source for the sound. He stored the incident without seeing any animal or figure.
"Ohio howls" heard not far from where recording was obtained in 1994
Late at night the witness sat alone by an outdoor fire when he heard a loud, powerful howling sound coming from the wooded valley below. The sound repeated several times over about a minute and seemed to be projected in different directions. He judged it unlike familiar local animals and listened for another half hour without hearing it again.
Campers awoken by loud knocks around 4am near Talemina Scenic Drive
Three people sleeping in a tent while camping were awakened around 3:39 a.m. by loud knocks. Over nearly an hour they heard five to six sets of triple knocks coming from multiple directions and distances, each set ending with a grunt or exhaling animal-like sound. The closest sounds were estimated about 50 yards uphill, and the witnesses felt the sounds seemed like communication between intelligent creatures. They left around daylight and agreed not to camp at that spot again.
Footsteps near Morristown, Ohio (2020)
Two people were night fishing from their truck beside a creek. They heard heavy-sounding bipedal-like footsteps moving on the far bank, followed by single hoot-like calls from two positions and later a loud crashing sound like a tree falling. They stayed a while longer before leaving.
Afternoon sighting of a bigfoot by motorist on Hwy 17 just north of Deer Park
The witness was driving home from work in the afternoon when traffic slowed. The witness noticed a tall, hairy, blonde to light-brown figure walking on two feet from the road into mixed woods. The witness did not see its face but estimated its height at 9-10 feet upon reaching the spot where it entered the woods.
Sasquatch sighting near Richmond, New Hampshire (2020)
The witness was hiking a loop trail alone while geocaching in early spring. After hearing indistinct voices and what seemed like a person imitating an owl, the witness turned toward the sound near a pond and saw a tall, lean, black figure turning and dropping to the ground behind a stone wall about 40 yards away. The witness continued on, initially rationalizing it as a person, but later concluded it was not human due to its height, very long arms and odd movement.

The son was driving home late at night when his headlights lit up a tall dark figure at the desert edge by the development gates. The figure walked away past reflective barricades and frightened him so badly he ran inside to tell his father. The family later found a large footprint outline and had doorbell video of him running inside.
