The witness states they began studying Woodbury gameland in 1998 after hearing of a Bigfoot sighting there. During the first visit, they report finding a three-toed impression estimated at 14 inches long and 6 inches wide. No animal or figure was seen at that time.

The next morning footprints were found near the dumpster in snow, leading the witness to conclude the figure was not a bear.

While canoeing down a wooded fork of a river, the group smelled decay and then saw a dark creature watching them from the trees. The creature followed them along the bank, ran ahead to a river bend, splashed and climbed the opposite bank, then later crossed an open clearing. About 20 minutes after the last sighting the group thought they heard shrieks shifting from high to low pitch.

The witness was working late at night at home with windows open. A loud impact-like bang was heard, followed by three or four loud yells described as non-human and unlike a house pet, seemingly coming from woods behind the apartment complex near railroad tracks. The witness felt the yells resembled descriptions of a possible Bigfoot yell heard at a seminar.

The witness reports sitting on a deer stand by a field with relatives during a sunny day. The witness looked west and saw a tall reddish-brown animal with dark deep-set eyes, facial hair, and a broad forehead. After looking away briefly, the witness looked back and the animal was gone.

The main witness was sitting on a log hunting squirrels after an older relative moved to another area. A dark hairy figure reportedly ran upright from behind a tree very fast, making a high-pitched noise with loud thumping footsteps. After it disappeared, the witness ran to tell the older relative, who did not believe the account.

The witness reported being out with a camera in Beaver Creek State Park on a late afternoon when prolonged howl-like sounds were heard. The sounds lasted several seconds and surrounding wildlife reportedly went silent. The witness later compared the sounds to televised recordings of alleged Bigfoot vocalizations.

Just past dusk while camping on a bow-hunting trip, the witness went to a portable toilet near camp, smelled a strong odor, and saw a white, wide-shouldered creature staring at him from a short distance. He screamed and waved a shovel, and the creature sprinted down into the ravine, breaking branches. The next day he and his companion found large footprints leading toward the ravine.

The witness was driving uphill in the morning when they saw a tall dark figure crossing the road at the crest ahead, initially perceiving it as a man carrying sticks. The witness reached the spot quickly and found no one there, noting the roadside was heavily wooded with culverts. Years later the witness concluded the figure may have been a Bigfoot seen from about 200 feet away.

The witness and two companions were night-hiking on railroad tracks beside a swamp when they heard a distant high scream and later a much louder close roar. A very large two-legged silhouette with swinging arms and a massive torso then charged through the swamp water toward them. The group fled back toward their car and saw the figure stop at the swamp edge and not follow onto the tracks.

Two companions were fishing from an anchored boat at dusk near a cattail-lined bank where they had previously found prints. One pointed out a tall, black, large-built figure standing above the 6- to 7-foot cattails downriver. The figure stood briefly, then stepped back and walked away into the woods through a channel, and the witnesses chose not to follow.

Six teenagers parked by a blocked trail in Oak Openings late at night to socialize. After a quiet period they heard approaching crunching, loud branch breaking and a massive tree snap, followed by an extremely loud prolonged female-like scream. They all fled on foot back to the car and drove away, too frightened to return.

The witness and a relative were scouting hunting locations in the afternoon when the relative walked ahead toward a truck. The witness noticed movement to the side and observed a tall, broad, dark-haired bipedal figure walk a short distance before disappearing into thicker woods. The witness aimed a pistol but chose not to shoot and did not tell the relative about the sighting for over a week.

The witness was squirrel hunting in thick woods when they walked by an animal about ten feet away without noticing it. The animal then ran off bipedally with a striding gait while making a monkey-like screaming sound.
