The witness and a companion camped beside a river and heard loud yelling that dropped into a groan or growl, followed hours later by closer calls, heavy footfalls, rustling on a hillside, and a large splash in the river. They could see nothing by flashlight from their vehicle. Shortly after, occupants of a passing car stopped and said a massive hairy figure had just run across the road in front of them.

The witness group was on a dock at Aspen Point when they heard a repeated sound from across the lake. The sound was heard about seven times over about ten minutes and seemed to move from the far side to the same side they were on, with two instances loud and clear. They left the area because they were frightened.

The witness was driving west at night with family in the vehicle when he saw a large grey-haired bipedal figure cross the highway ahead in the headlights. The figure moved quickly from woods on one side to woods on the other in a few long strides, remaining hunched over and not looking toward the vehicle. Only the driver observed the figure, as the front passenger was looking at a phone and the children were asleep.

Two companions were driving at night in a doorless vehicle when they made a wrong turn onto a dead-end road. As they turned around, the passenger alerted the driver to eyeshine behind a large tree caught in the headlights. The driver then saw large eyes about six feet off the ground and a large brown shape behind the tree. Both were frightened and did not get a prolonged look.
Two Boys witness a tree pushed into a river by a human-like being while fishing near Grassy
Two boys were gigging for fish in a shallow river at night when they heard splashing from objects thrown into the water. They shone flashlights across the river and saw an upright human-like creature bring down a dead tree into the river and move in the water. The boys fled to their cabin, and a tree not present the day before was seen in the river the next morning.

The witness was camping with family late in the evening. The witness reported seeing a single tall, dark figure identified as bigfoot at a distance, estimated to be about nine feet ten inches tall.

Two people had been fishing at Caesar Creek Lake and were packing up after sundown when a growling/hissing sound came from the treeline. They shone a flashlight into the woods and saw green eyes, heard trees and brush thrashing as something moved, and smelled a strong scat-like stench. After watching about five minutes they gathered gear and walked back to the parking area feeling watched.

The witness was camping with his wife and sister-in-law when he was awakened around 3:14 a.m. to accompany his wife to the restroom. While preparing to leave the tent he heard 4 or 5 loud wood-knock-like sounds spaced a few seconds apart, followed by faint voice-like gibberish with grunts. His sister-in-law later confirmed she also heard the knocking sounds.
Morning hike turns a veterinarian and her family into believers near Missoula
Three witnesses hiking on a ridge trail around noon stopped and watched a large dark object standing motionless beside power poles on a distant ridge for several minutes. The object then turned, took several large steps with visible arm and leg motion, and disappeared over the ridge. The daughter took a phone photo as it disappeared that was described as showing head and shoulders, and later took a comparison photo of the empty ridge.

Early in the morning the witness stepped onto a second-story apartment balcony and turned on the light. She immediately heard a loud primate-like scream followed by woo-woo calls, which set a neighbor's dog barking. After several minutes she noticed a tree rustling, heard low grunts and footsteps along a privacy fence, and watched a very wide, hunched, ape-like shadow lumber along the fence line before two figures reportedly moved off together into the dark.

The witness reports having been stopped in a vehicle for about 20 minutes. During that time they heard two very loud tree-knock-like sounds and a rock was thrown near the vehicle. They also reported a strong animal-like odor.

The witness was driving with family on a straight stretch of Tower Road on a clear afternoon when he and his wife saw a very large black bipedal figure standing beside the road. Moments later it crossed the highway in an extremely fast blur and vanished into an open clear-cut where no animal could be seen. They stopped and looked but found no trace, and they told only select friends for years.

The witness and a work partner had parked beside a road while working on equipment. After checking fluid under the truck, the witness spotted a single unusually wide track in the dirt near the front tire. They measured and photographed the track but found no additional definitive tracks.
Rock throwing in Washington (2012)
After a thunderstorm night the guest slept alone in a six-man tent with his truck parked close by. Around 2:15 AM gravel fell onto his canopy, a rock was dragged down a metal pole, then huge fingers pushed through the tent door and swept back and forth as if feeling for something. Terrified, he stayed still until it withdrew, walked past his head, tapped his truck bumper, and walked down the road away, an exit also heard by another camper nearby.

While at the expedition base the group heard tick-like wood knocks from the forest. A companion knocked three times, twice, then once on a log and the unseen source replicated each pattern exactly. Following the sounds led them to Little Mosquito Lake where they found many eleven and a half inch footprints on the hillside.

During a BFRO expedition the guest hiked about two and a half miles from base camp with two companions and got lost. They found a sandy dugout with many scattered leg bones and antlers but no heads or spines. The guest glimpsed a cone-shaped hairy head in his periphery that dropped down fast, but when they checked sixty feet away there were no tracks, scat, sounds or movement.

A couple hiking in the Otter Creek Wilderness became disoriented after several hours. They noticed a large dark silhouette on a ridge about 100 yards away, then heard monkey-like sounds for about 30 seconds and saw a tall thin tree violently shaken. They interpreted the displays as threatening and quickly left the area.

The witness was driving toward Langford Lake in the morning when a dark, monkey-faced animal on all fours crossed the road directly in front of the car, requiring hard braking. The witness stopped to search the roadside gully but could not relocate it. The witness, experienced with bears, insisted it was not a bear and wondered if it was a juvenile Sasquatch.

The witness and his wife were driving home at sunset when a large dark figure crouched in their lane. They braked as headlights lit it, and it stood to about eight feet, covered its face, then stepped over a fence post and ran toward the woods. Both occupants smelled a strong foul odor like garbage or a dead animal.

The witness was camping with family when the group heard knocking and branch-breaking sounds for about an hour. He walked about 10 yards from the fire to investigate and saw a small dark shape dash past, then noticed a tall bipedal figure staring at him from about nine feet away for about 10 seconds before it turned and walked away silently. He ran back to the cabin and stayed inside for the night.
