The witness was driving slowly to work in heavy fog before sunrise when a tall hairy biped crossed the road a few yards ahead from right to left. The animal moved at a slow run and briefly turned its upper torso toward the headlights before disappearing into the fog. The driver stopped, stunned at nearly hitting it, but could give no further detail because of the conditions and brief duration.

He described jet-black wet hair hanging over its face, a chimp-like nose and mouth, and large limbs, estimating it was the size of a large man.

The witness was driving east on Highway 11 just outside Fort Frances in daylight when a tall dark moose-sized figure crossed the road on two legs from the south woods to the north woods. The figure moved casually and fluidly, covering the two lanes in a few steps. The witness sped up to try to see it go deeper into the bush but lost sight of it.

The witness and a relative were stranded after a vehicle breakdown and were flagging traffic with flashlights. About an hour after dark they saw the silhouette of a tall, very skinny biped cross the road about 30-40 feet away toward the lake. It walked upright with a slow, smooth gait and large steps, described as kid-like, smaller than a standing bear, with long arms and a humpbacked appearance.

While delivering newspapers before sunrise, the witness stopped at paper tubes and noticed a dark figure walking along the edge of a cornfield by the treeline. The witness and two companions were backpacking and camping in a wilderness area, working to start a fire at dusk when the witness and one companion heard a loud, long howl-like scream repeated three times from far up a hollow. The witness judged it unlike any known local animal call. Later that night after the fire burned down, the witness alone heard loud stomping and large branches snapping near the creek close to camp for a few minutes.

The witness was driving south on Route 55 near Seneca Rocks late at night in rain while towing a trailer when he saw a tall hair-covered biped about 20 feet away. He turned around, shined headlights and a flashlight into the woods, then heard movement through brush, vocalizations and wood pounding for several minutes before silence. He returned the next day, found apparent footprints, and photographed them.

The witness and his wife were driving in their truck on a DNR access road toward a lake in fresh snow. The wife noticed a single file of large bipedal-looking tracks crossing the area near a toilet building. The husband got out, examined them in deep snow, and noted a long clean stride with no drag marks before the trail continued into pines. The pair reported seeing almost no deer sign in the area.

About four years ago in winter, the witness found about eight large footprints in fresh snow near the driveway leading from the road toward a pond fence where they stopped. The witness and her husband were sitting in their parked car at an overgrown abandoned graveyard at night. She heard branches breaking, felt watched, and noticed a foul odor, then watched a very tall bulky figure standing between pines and swaying side to side for several minutes before leaving. Her companion in the passenger seat did not see the figure, reportedly because of dashboard light glare.

The witness was driving late at night and slowed for a livestock area. She glimpsed a tall dark figure holding a calf-sized shape under its arm. A backseat passenger also said he saw it. When she turned around and returned, only a calf remained at the gate.

The guest with his wife and a friend stopped by a creek at the edge of the woods. As he stepped off the four-wheeler, something gave a very loud scream that felt in the chest. They immediately left the area.

The guest and his best friend fished at the uncle's lake then dug for fossils at the high wall. Rocks were thrown at them from a ravine, then heavy footsteps paced them behind tall reeds. When they reached the truck and turned on headlights, an 8-9 foot upright grayish-black figure ran from behind the reeds up a steep hill in seconds and disappeared.

While turkey hunting with his wife in deep snow on an unused dirt road, the guest saw huge spaced divots. He crossed a creek and found a giant footprint with toes in a straight line. He followed the same individual's older and newer tracks to a cliff where it climbed, with body drag in snow, and photographed them.

The witness and two companions went night fishing for catfish along the Kern River to avoid daytime heat. After hearing an extremely loud deep roar that caused physical fear, they saw a very tall black bipedal figure across the river that shoved a large live tree until it snapped. The figure then entered the deep fast river and moved toward them with apparent ease, prompting them to abandon their gear and flee by car.

During a week camped with a companion, the witnesses heard many knocks and a full scream about 50 feet away just after a recorder shut off. A couple nights later they heard branches breaking approaching camp and the witness watched a soft blue ball of light move through trees and light them from close range. Only the light was visible where breaking sounds originated.

While riding alone upriver the witness glassed a black figure moving across a distant meadow. Through binoculars it walked upright with arms swinging in a frolicking way. After dirt bikes passed it ran on two legs, dropped to all fours looking lurpy, then barrel-rolled into the timber.
