At night the witness stood at his horse fence and heard obvious bipedal crunching footsteps about 40 to 50 feet away. When he turned his flashlight on the steps stopped with nothing visible, and when off they resumed. This repeated until it moved out of earshot.

At night after his dogs went crazy the witness stepped onto pallet wood to shine a light into the woods. He heard an extremely loud wood knock like one telephone pole hitting another. He could not explain how a human made it.

An hour before sunset in summer the witness, his wife and both kids saw a blue orb sitting at the wood line. His family went inside while he approached with a pistol. The orb was gone and he fired two shots into the ground.

As teenagers the witness and friends camped and hiked up a reputedly haunted mountain at night to look for a cabin. They were paralleled on both sides, heard whoops and powerful wood knocks and branches being ripped, then a large tree was pushed over close to them and they fled. The running camcorder captured the sounds and briefly illuminated two large almond-shaped red eyes that narrowed and turned away before the tree fell.

The witness and a companion camped separately in the North Georgia mountains after spilling bacon grease near a creek. At night the companion reported heavy footsteps, a large outline at the treeline, and large hairy bodies passing the tent while the tent was shaken violently. In the morning they found concentrated large footprints at the grease spill and the witness's own camp trashed.

Over several weeks of treatment work the crew found survey ribbons repeatedly torn off and scattered, then piled in the clearing, and later found treated trees pushed over and drill bits bent. The crew and surveyors concluded no one on the crews was responsible. The job was ended at about seventy percent complete.

The witness and one coworker stayed late to finish treated trees and clean up capsules. They heard whoops and a shriek, then heard whistling objects identified as treatment capsules being thrown near them. As they drove out they saw something peering from behind a tree and heard three wood knocks.

On a morning walk to the bus stop, the boys heard a two-toned call from far back in the swamp. The witness called back and it answered closer, then again at the edge of the woods by the pipeline field. After an interruption it was heard once more far back in the swamp.

On another dusky evening returning to a friend's house, the two boys saw a small jet-black figure standing behind the brick fireplace. It was three to four feet tall with a pointed head and appeared to peek at them. They were frightened and did not approach.

At dusk while returning home, the witness and a friend heard dogs barking behind the house and went to look. They saw a slow grayish animal on all fours moving along a fence line. It had a small round head and moved like a sloth, frightening them away.

On a morning walk to the bus stop, the witness and a friend noticed a mound under a street lamp that stood up and walked. It picked up a rock, turned sideways, and entered the woods. They later found a twenty-two inch foot impression where the friend had seen a swaying shadow earlier that morning.

About 250 yards away a giant dark ape-like figure came out of vegetation knuckle-walking, went up an embankment, briefly stood, then went down the other side. The witness left for his truck and did not hunt there again.

The witness heard a loud moaning crying sound coming from a pond a couple hundred yards from his trailer. He grabbed a shotgun and walked over while it continued. When he arrived there was nothing there and the sound had stopped.

The witness was driving on a familiar back road when he saw a figure standing on the left he first took for a person at a mailbox. The figure turned and crossed the two-lane highway in three steps and disappeared on the right. He slowed, confirmed there were no mailboxes or people nearby, later revisited the spot and estimated the figure at about seven and a half feet with bright brown hair and a runner's build.

Years after the original case the guest and a small research group followed the same creek and found another set of submerged tracks with a 72-inch stride, estimated to mean a very tall individual. On the same trip that night the group heard a growl that seemed to come from the middle of their campfire area. They looked but saw nothing.
