Two investigators made repeated nighttime visits to a closed metal bridge near another covered bridge. They reported loud knocks and bangs from under and around the bridge, unexplained lights in the woods and swamp, and being paced. They also described entering an intensely cold spot on the path where one felt drained, had to kneel, vomited while walking back, and felt sick the next day.

The witness, a delivery driver hauling motorcycles, was climbing a grade on Route 153 at night when overtaken by intense fear and goosebumps. A shadow kept pace with the truck in the woods about ten feet off the road, then disappeared over the crest. On the downhill side the brake lights illuminated a large blob-like silhouette standing behind the guardrail, which the witness felt had angrily chased him out.

A couple arriving at a bridge at night reported seeing a wide, burly torso with long arms and no head or legs walk across the far end and disappear around a bend. They said the form was clearly visible on the path and did not appear human. The interviewers clarified that no hands or legs were seen.

The guest, a delivery truck driver, was en route to a distribution center in York when he saw a large dark figure by a creek from a bridge. He stopped along with another driver to watch it, thinking it was a bear. The figure stood to about eight and a half feet, looked like a hairy human holding a dead goat or dog, grunted, slammed a fist into the water, then dropped to all fours and fled rapidly through water and woods. A state trooper who responded suggested a bear, which both witnesses rejected.

During summer reunions at his grandparents' house, the witness and cousins sleeping in tents repeatedly heard distant howls. They asked adults about the sounds, but the adults dismissed them. The witness later recalled this as early unexplained activity before moving to Pennsylvania.

The witness camped alone on his wooded property and woke at 4 a.m. to his car alarm, which had never gone off before. He fired a shot into the air, approached the car, and by the blinking lights saw a tall black figure striding away. He hid in his car with his gun until daylight and then drove out.

The witness was driving home late from a family dinner and slowed in a desolate gamelands stretch where deer often cross. A young deer tumbled into the road and a huge hairy biped leapt from a bank, grabbed the deer, broke its neck, growled, then leapt over a guardrail and disappeared downhill.

The witness was driving his uncle home late at night in winter snow under full moon. The uncle spotted a tall broad figure moving up a steep hill behind a business on two legs. They stopped to watch it continue uphill and did not follow on foot.

The driver was hauling a truck on the turnpike at night toward the terminal. A light first thought to be a plane or helicopter stayed hovering as the vehicle closed over several miles. While passing underneath, the driver saw a dark checkmark-shaped body overhead that did not move.

The witness and a companion parked at a closed road on private property in February to look for strange lights previously reported there. After about twenty to thirty minutes they saw bright white-blue lights on a hillside that shifted to green and turned red when hit with a green laser, appearing single to the naked eye but double through binoculars and moving as if rising, shifting sideways, and blinking out and reappearing. A companion also reported a large moving shadow on another hill. The pair left while the lights were still present after feeling suddenly frightened.

The guest and three college friends drove to a remote back road at night to make whoops and knocks as a fun outing. Something answered with similar whoops and knocks and approached as they moved into the woods. The guest briefly saw a hair-covered biped moving between trees and later all four watched eyeshine peer from behind a tree before fleeing to the car and driving back to college.

After starting to research, the witness went into the woods at night with a friend. They heard a very deep, strong vocalization and the friend wanted to leave. The witness moved toward a hillside hollow, heard breathing and branches being knocked over about 30 to 40 feet away without seeing the source, then returned to find his friend frightened.
Sasquatch sighting near Oil City, Pennsylvania
The witness was hunting with two friends near Oil City when he noticed a figure walking without orange clothing. While his companions did not see it, he watched it cross a creek and climb the far bank. He raised his rifle scope to observe it at about 150 yards and saw a man-like face that gave him a piercing look before it continued on.
