On Halloween night the friend, the witness and the friend's son went into Rock Creek Canyon playing calls. They heard creatures trailing on both sides, humming growling, a large boulder splash in the creek, saw eyeshine of a very tall figure, then found a mature deer with a leg twisted and left quickly.

The driver broke down on a rainy highway and was working in the back of a tall cargo van. A snorting sound came from outside, and a large hairy face appeared inches away in the open door. The creature vibrated the van with a loud growl, reacted to a pistol, then left. Lightning revealed two more figures nearby, and the driver fired and fled to town.

It sounded close and perfectly enunciated with no person visible. Another hunter nearby heard similar whistles moving toward him and left with his pistol.

While sitting in a tree stand at a bait site the hunter heard a very loud clear whistle-like vocalization with enunciation. He looked up expecting a person nearby but saw no one, shouted thanks, and left thinking another hunter spoiled the site.

The witness heard distant high-pitched echoing sounds off the pump station walls and found them odd but ignored them.
Three incidents in marshy zone outside Charleston next to Mississippi River
The witness and a companion were bowfishing at night at a pump station when they heard high-pitched sounds. A spotlight then revealed a tall hair-covered figure about 25 yards away at the treeline, gripping a limb and watching them for under a minute. The figure grunted loudly and walked away steadily while breaking limbs in its path, after which the two left terrified.

Over several weeks at the camp, five people at different times heard what sounded like Gregorian chanting at night from inside closed vehicles and trailers. Opening a door made the sound stop, and it repeated off and on through the night several times a week with no known source.

The next night during a Halloween broadcast the group saw moving shadows, heard talking, and recorded a white light hovering over the trail. A partner who approached the light reported being pushed backward.

During a guided ghost hunt voices through devices claimed a Bigfoot was inside the building and described it as big, tall and hairy. When asked to signal, a flashlight in the back turned on. One visitor was too frightened to approach while the witness walked back and found nothing, then checked outside and saw nothing.

At a swamp bridge one companion reported a figure by a tree while another had stones lobbed at him. The witness saw a broad-shouldered dark figure throwing stones over brush. After shouting a challenge he heard a loud crashing bluff, later finding snapped sticks. On the walk out they heard escorts, saw smooth-moving figures on a ridge, and saw a basketball-sized light crash with nothing found.

During a live broadcast that required frequent phone resets, the group heard knocks and whoops timed to the resets. A loud deep voice said hello twice. When the witness and his partner separately approached the sound source in dense brush, each was met with a deep chest growl.

At about fourteen the guest was night-fishing with his father on phosphate-mine land when his father boated out to full traps and left him alone on the bank. He heard sticks breaking and louder thrashing, then saw movement in myrtle bushes and a tall tree shaking violently while a loud whoa-whoa vocalization sounded. He fled to the locked truck, and his father dismissed the sound as a cow.

At the current home, the witness regularly hears indistinct mumbling like distant talking near the fields around dusk, especially when corn is planted. With binoculars she sees things moving in and out of the tree line, and finds many footprints in the fields.

Over a period on the farm, the guest and his young nephew repeatedly heard loud prolonged vocalizations and crying-like sounds while outside. The mother dismissed them as a horse, donkey, or bobcat. The guest later doubted those explanations because of loudness and duration.
