Sasquatch sighting near Pinawa, Manitoba (2007)
The witness was on a solo early-morning walk by a lake and causeway when she first mistook a large dark animal for a bear. It stood up and moved with unusual fluidity, grimaced and vocalized, then retreated toward the treeline while a larger concealed animal roared, snapped trees and shook vegetation. As she backed out between granite rock piles, she saw a massive auburn-haired arm pressed flat against the rocks close to her. She eventually left the area and became physically ill from fear and adrenaline.
Woman driving sees creature walk into bush
The witness was driving slowly home on a bumpy gravel road in the late afternoon when she noticed a large dark hairy figure just off the road about 40 yards away. She observed its back as it walked calmly into the surrounding brush, noting broad shoulders, no visible neck, and a head pointed on top, but she did not see its face or legs. After returning home she told a relative, who searched the area with a camcorder but the figure was already gone.

The witness was driving home after dusk and slowed to turn onto a gravel road when a shape was noticed in the ditch. Thinking it might be an escaped horse, the witness aimed the truck headlights toward it for a better view. The figure was covered in dark brown hair and moved away rapidly while walking upright. The witness, frightened at not recognizing it, left the area and went home.
