After the prior road encounter, while driving on a remote Kansas road early in the morning with dim headlights, the witness saw something cross the road very low to the ground. It moved like a pouncing cat but appeared to army-crawl on tiptoes and fingertips, which struck him as unnatural. He considered turning around to look closer but decided not to.

Five investigators went to the cemetery at night with a word-generating ghost box and lights. Two men saw three shapes in trees that dropped down, approached, stood on two legs, and vanished when spotlighted. Lights shut off, something circled them, and they later found very large hoof-like prints and saw a large cat cross the trail.

On a morning visit to a research area, the witness saw a dark-haired upright figure stand up in a wheat field about 50 yards away and run toward the river bottoms. On a cold night about a year ago they sat quietly with lights off, heard a group approach talking, then lit them with flashlights. They describe one tall figure by a deck, one smaller figure lying prone that blinked, others peeking from trees, and others slapping buildings as a distraction before all left down a ridge.

While camped on BLM land near Badlands National Park, the couple heard distressed cows for hours and noticed one dog refuse to leave the truck. During a moonlit walk they lay down to look at stars, their dog barked, and they saw a very large black canine-like figure about sixty yards away with no eye shine that seemed to absorb flashlight beams while panting loudly. A second closer larger figure seen by the boyfriend flanked them, both followed the couple about a quarter mile back toward camp before disappearing, after which cows vocalized again.

The night after returning home the witness woke with eyes closed and heard a loud scream and a clear wood knock inside his head. He then saw a close vision of a large black-haired face with gray skin. He was not frightened and felt it was the same individual seen on the trail.

Four people camped in a van by the lake and walked up a logging trail with torches. The dog ran ahead and fled yelping to the house. Something gray and bulky crossed the trail, then something crashed from the trees, blew out the torch, and loomed over them as a dark mass with outstretched arms. They fled to the van, later heard something walking around and scratching the van, and next morning found scratch marks through paint.

While alone at home with his newborn son resting on a cushion, the baby woke with a scared scream. As the guest picked him up he saw a semi-transparent figure about three and a half feet tall halfway in the doorway with an oversized head and skinny arm peeking in. The moment he reacted it glided fast across the room and out the open back door.

A boater drove to a remote new concrete ramp and got his van stuck in mud. While waiting alone with windows down, something hit and rocked the van repeatedly. He briefly saw two large brown eyes reflected in the window looking down at him, yelled, and the rocking suddenly stopped.

As a young child sharing a bedroom, the witness woke to see a tall hairy female-like face at the window across from her bed. The figure tapped on the glass and motioned for her to come outside, then moved to a second window behind her head and tapped there. The next morning plants and shrubs outside the first window were found crushed, and her grandfather called police.

Review of old footage later revealed a camouflaged hairy individual moving from center to left behind trees, distinct from another figure recorded at the same time. He describes hairy legs, torso and top of head visible through foliage and considers it a juvenile.

He heard heavy stomps behind him and felt the ground shake, then saw a gray figure behind a tree about 30 feet away that struck the tree and vocalized. He scanned with his phone, noted an old tree break nearby and later heard two large knocks from another direction before returning to camp.

Cameras placed beneath a double arch captured a white blob moving through three daylight frames and rectangular beams of light traveling through trees. The same camera captured a nearly transparent bipedal figure standing and shifting slightly before disappearing into a blurry mass that also showed movement.

A research group camped at a remote river location and stayed up late around a fire to invite attention. On about the fifth night whistling calls, heavy movement through brush, and a loud branch break approached camp. The witness watched through a night-vision monocular as a large silhouette crossed a road with a smooth gliding gait, and the group later found disturbed ground and footprints that were tracked for about a mile.

While camping and sleeping in a camper trailer with family and companions, the young witness awoke at night to loud heavy breathing outside her window and indistinct chatter-like sounds moving along the window. She pulled back the curtain and saw a dark-skinned partial face with brown eyes inches away staring in. The sounds stopped shortly after, and the next morning the adults found apples and potatoes missing from the back of the truck.

Witnesses also describe solid-looking figures including a man at the foot of a bed holding a hat with no head, a sulfur-smelling man from a closet, and hairy legs entering a bedroom, plus moved objects such as truck doors, a broken statue, a sliding piano bench and chair during a blessing.

The witness and the same young relative were carrying camping gear near a hayfield at sunset and noticed a dark figure deep in the field. Through weak binoculars it looked broad-shouldered and massive, sitting or crouching with its rear low, and it turned to show head and shoulders and walked with a swaying stagger. They went inside to get adults, and when the adults came out it was gone.
