He walked about 700-800 yards southeast into the woods and heard loud strange vocals, then saw a tall red-haired figure standing behind a berry bush staring at him. He ran back to the house, found his small dog shaking and foaming, then briefly returned to look for tracks before a loud branch snap sent him back to the house.

His field companion looked through the thermal and said it transformed into an upright heat-signature being that crossed a dirt road toward a knoll. The witness woke in a three-sided bunkhouse at scout camp and saw a tall hairy biped walking down a maintenance road about 30 feet away. He watched its back, shoulders, buttocks and upper legs as it walked casually and grabbed a tree limb overhead. He and his bunkmate later measured the limb at about 10 feet high and estimated the creature at about eight feet tall.
