When the witness approached with a light, a pine cone flew out close to him, he felt he should not go farther, and he brought the girls into the tent.

He watched a large black hairy biped walk effortlessly up a steep hill toward him, sniff the air and make eye contact for several seconds before walking away over the hill. After it left he heard a loud high-pitched scream in the distance, felt watched while leaving, and vomited once clear of the woods.

She observed its profile, including head, arm, hand with fingers, and thick legs, and estimated it at eight to eight and a half feet tall. She lost sight of it after glancing at the road and drove home fearing it would cut her off.

They fired weapons while retreating to snowmobiles, the cousin ran for the truck, and the witness held position firing for an extended period before they escaped in the truck. The cousin later found the abandoned snowmobiles torn apart.

While hiking alone about 12 miles out on a remote forested trail, the guest smelled a powerful foul odor, heard subtle branch breaks, and noticed total silence. He saw a tall hairy upper body with one arm peeking from behind a large tree, which then withdrew and vanished. About 100 feet farther the figure stepped fully onto the trail, stood looking at him, then turned back into the woods where the guest later found a small purple beaded bracelet placed on a sapling.
