The witness was uncertain whether the sounds and sighting involved the same animal and noted a bear as a possible alternative, only later considering Bigfoot after finding a website.

A couple were trolling slowly by boat up a flooded channel while fishing. The husband saw a dark bulky figure hunched behind brush watching them, while the wife experienced birds going quiet and then saw bushes moving up into the woods as something left quickly. They backed out of the channel and left the area.

Four men were driving south late at night towing a loaded travel trailer when a tall dark form ran toward the road on two feet. The witness and a secretary stepped outside their remote office for a break and noticed a large hairy creature on the mountainside about 100 yards away holding onto a rock ledge. They watched it for about ten minutes with a clear view of its face and eyes before the secretary became frightened and they went back inside. When the witness went back outside shortly afterward, the creature was gone.

A couple walking with their two dogs noticed a large dark figure crossing a frozen lake toward an island. They watched it move quickly through tall cattails from about 350 yards down to about 150 yards before it entered woods and disappeared. The witness tried to approach for a closer look but the dogs refused to follow, and he found no tracks in the hard-packed snow and ice.
