Tall hairy figure leans out from behind a tree to observe woman outside San Antonio
While cleaning a construction office trailer around midnight, the wife stepped outside and saw a tall hair-covered figure watching from behind a tree about 25 feet away. She stared for a couple minutes as it leaned to look around the tree, then ran inside. The couple checked the area with headlights, saw nothing, waited in the dark, and heard whistling and rustling before leaving. In daylight the next day they found nothing that explained the figure.

The witness and a friend were maintaining a camp fire at night behind the friend's house near a wooded ravine. When the witness stepped toward the ravine to gather twigs, he saw a tall black form standing in tall weeds below and watched it move side to side before it looked up showing red eye reflection. After the friend also looked and fled to the house, the form ran across the creek toward a field and the witness ran inside.

Shortly after arriving at a secluded cabin, the 17-year-old witness and his best friend took a paddle boat onto the five-acre pond without lights. Near a dark cove they approached a huge dark figure on the shore. As they realized it had broad shoulders and a head with no neck, it lifted its leg and caused a huge splash, and they paddled frantically back to the dock.

After stopping, one occupant heard sounds in the woods and both then saw a head-and-shoulders shape move quickly between trees before the area went quiet.

The witness and a companion drove to a tree in the yard to check a prior possible sighting. With bright headlights from about 50 feet away, they saw a large white figure sitting on a branch with broad shoulders and hairy dangling legs moving slightly. After the companion shouted to leave, the witness reversed the car and drove away, then both called relatives.

At night the guest saw a face in the living room window reflection with bared teeth and darting eyes that exhaled and fogged the glass. It left the porch with loud footsteps and slapped windows at the back of the house. The guest armed himself with a rifle, stayed in the hallway all night, and moved out the next morning.

The headlights illuminated a large hairy figure standing partly behind a dumpster at the bottom of the driveway, which looked toward the witness without moving. Immediately after his car passed, the figure stood upright and crossed the two-lane road behind the car in two to three long strides, seen in the rearview mirror. The witness was riding an ATV down a washed-out road on a family farm when he briefly saw a tall, massive furred animal about 150-200 yards away that reflected sunlight and then retreated into thickets. After approaching the spot, he heard loud running with breaking limbs, then two loud bangs like wood knocks, followed by prolonged deer snorting and stomping before he left. He returned the next day to photograph suspected footprints and hair found on a limb.

Late at night the witness went to check on children sleeping in a bedroom that opens onto a porch against a wooded hillside. A motion light came on and the witness saw a tall, dark, shaggy creature standing on two legs at the window, partly obscured by a blind. The figure stood briefly, then left toward the woods. The next morning the witness found slide marks in mud on the hillside but no clear footprints.
