The witness was driving southbound with a companion in the afternoon when both noticed a large dark hairy figure moving through fallen timber beside the road. They described full front-to-back arm swings, massive arms, clumpy blackish hair and no neck, visible from the waist up for about six seconds. The witness was night fishing with two companions by a fire on a riverbank. After hearing an unusual noise from across the river, the witness saw a very large, hairy figure moving in the dark. The witness was riding as a passenger south on the turnpike near the Ocoee exit around noon when he watched a large brown-covered biped walking the same direction in a swampy meadow about 100 yards away for 5 to 10 seconds. The figure had an odd gait, uniform dark brown color including the hands, no identifiable clothing, and a pointed head with little visible neck. His wife was driving and did not see it, and he remained uncertain whether the figure was human.

While fishing from a small boat with a companion, the witness heard a large heavy animal running through shallow water near shore, after which birds fled, the area went silent, and a bad smell was noticed. A much larger female then emerged and caught a small rodent, which a huge male rushed out to snatch and eat. After the animals stood and scanned the treeline while sniffing deeply, the witness radioed a bear alert, a helicopter buzzed the area scattering the group, and he returned to the helipad where the pilot said others had reported similar encounters.

A forest trail worker leveling shale heard rocks clacking nearby and shouted and threw a stone while backing toward a vehicle. The witness then saw a dark brown leg and face of a creature leaning under a fir limb about 20 feet away. The witness left to get crew members, who returned but saw nothing and all left the area because they felt spooked.

A woman and a child went to a relative's house to feed a dog. The child chased the dog around the house out of sight, then screamed and ran back saying a monkey-like creature growled and ran into the woods, later adding there was a little one with its mother. The woman did not see the creature but heard movement in the brush.
