The neighbor ran toward the sounds expecting a person while the witness stayed about 30 yards away. A tall figure then ran past the witness in moonlight at extraordinary speed.

Backlit by a carport light, he saw a large wide shape that vocalized again, circled with him as he retrieved a rifle, then left toward the woods. The witness became stranded alone when a car sank in soft sand on a remote forest road. While digging out the tires, the witness was struck by a thrown rock, then heard movement, footsteps and loud hissing vocalizations from the surrounding brush. A large wet adult creature and a smaller juvenile were then seen at close range crossing the road, throwing material at the car, before disappearing into the forest.

The witness was driving slowly at night when she saw about ten wild pigs feeding near the road and a large dark hairy figure crouched beside a boulder behind them watching the pigs. She watched it for about a minute before driving on. She turned around a few minutes later to look again, but the figure was gone.

The witness ran inside, then returned with a flashlight to find twisted vegetation and snapped branches and noted a foul smell.

The witness was alone hunting deer from an elevated stand before sunrise when a strong musty odor grew stronger. He then noticed a tall, hairy biped partly concealed behind a large tree about 25 yards away, swaying from side to side and making short low grunts. After he glanced away to reach for his scoped gun he heard it moving through the woods, and when he looked back it had disappeared.

The witness claims that while hog hunting near a roadside ditch, he saw a large brown bipedal creature crouching by the road. The creature reportedly stood, walked back and forth across the road, then crouched again before walking away on two legs toward a swamp. The encounter included heavy footsteps and a strong wild-hog-like odor and reportedly lasted about a minute.
