They approached and saw a creature crouched down that then stood about eight feet tall before running quickly toward a swamp. They did not follow into the swamp but found bark shredded from the tree where it had been.

While riding in the back seat during a family drive through Phantom Canyon, the witness saw a large dark furry biped among cows beside the road. The creature, seen from behind, walked briskly with wide arm swings and long steps toward a treed rocky area. The driver turned back to look again minutes later, but the figure was gone.

The witness was walking back from fishing with a dog on a dirt road through woods and Christmas tree farms when a large brown figure was seen moving through young trees. The figure crossed a gap and the road close to the witness, described as upright on two legs and covered in long hair, moving quickly and quietly. The dog stayed close with raised hair and whined, and the witness ran across the young trees rather than continuing on the road.

At a track crossing in the distance the witness saw a tall dark figure that turned its whole upper body and stepped toward the witness. After a nearby truck started, the figure left the tracks for the woods in two long steps, and the witness heard unfamiliar growling and vocal sounds. The witness later waited locked inside the work vehicle until coworkers returned.

The witness was driving with a companion to a school game when they found a very large, hairy animal squatting in the middle of a narrow road. The driver steered toward it to avoid the creek and expected an impact from about ten feet away, but the animal dodged without contact and was gone when checked in the mirror. The pair later agreed it did not match a dog, bear, or other familiar animal.

An orange-haired bipedal creature emerged from the treeline and foraged on plants for about ten minutes while approaching. The witness was scouting high-elevation timber for a later elk hunt when he noticed tree breaks, pushovers and tracks. From boulders he glassed about eight hairy bipeds with young, watching them for about half an hour as some appeared to hide at a choke point while others circled. He concluded they were hunting deer and left with his companion before dark.

They saw a mostly hairless bearded face, brow ridge, cone head, long arms and a squatting two-legged walk. After their light failed the figure moved to the woodline and they walked home.

The witness was deer hunting with a parent when the parent fired three shots from a nearby holler. The witness moved to the edge of a field, heard talking-like chattering, then saw two quadrupedal hairy animals burst from brush and run toward the witness. Both the witness and the parent fired at the animals, which moved very quickly across the creek bottom and up the opposite ridge.

Around noon, the guest and his then-wife were driving outside town when they saw a huge black triangle with a clipped corner moving high in the sky. About ten to twelve silver disks orbited it clockwise. They stopped with other motorists and watched about ten minutes until it left sight.

The witness, then about 12, was deer hunting with his father, brother and uncles at a mountain camp. Over several nights a loud screaming vocalization was heard around 9 p.m. and the uncles repeatedly chased the source uphill. One uncle confronted a very tall hair-covered biped at close range and fired over its head, while later nights brought a spotlight glimpse of a large dark mass, a small 4-foot figure, answering calls from another ridge, uprooted trees and reddish hair tufts, before the activity moved away.

Six coworkers on a seismic crew were eating lunch on a hill when they noticed a dark hair-covered figure moving through timber about 500 yards away. The figure walked upright on two legs with long swinging arms and made muttering sounds before noticing the men, then fled into the timber breaking branches. The men then heard loud screaming and moaning vocalizations from the timber and left the area by helicopter.
