Headlights lit a tall hairy creature by a cow feeder that looked identical to the first one. The friends fled immediately, the witness watched briefly, then fled after his four-wheeler stalled.

After a tense standoff the group retrieved the small one and withdrew to the treeline, and the witness left the property at sunrise.

The witness was hunting hogs when he noticed a large hair-covered figure sitting by a tree. The figure stood up, and the witness observed it through a rifle scope for about half a minute before it walked away. The witness described the figure as very large with long chestnut-brown hair, a hairless face, and large soft brown eyes.

A witness sitting near a wooded slope watched a solid-white upright figure approach and stop a short distance away. The figure faced the witness, gave a loud woman-like scream, leapt away, then beat on a tree. The witness fled to a nearby house convinced it was an animal, not a person or ghost.

A city youth went camping and caving with a friend and the friend's parent near caves in Ontario. While searching in the woods after a meal, the youths saw a dark furry primate-like animal come down a tree and move on all fours. It left quickly and the woods became silent, leaving them frightened.

Review of their running video was said to show a female carrying an infant with a juvenile nearby, each holding sticks, and a separate pale dog-like figure standing off the trail.

While driving to shop early in the morning, the guest saw a thin black two-legged figure run effortlessly straight up a steep brush-covered embankment. He estimated it covered about a hundred feet in a couple seconds in a few strides and judged it was very tall.

He describes footsteps closing in, growling and heavy breathing, a monkey-like figure in a tree and shapes running across the road, then a large figure stepping into the road, pausing to look and feinting from behind a fallen tree while a lighter figure jumped into the road and dropped to all fours before leaving.

The witness and his boss pulled into the farm driveway late at night so the boss could relieve himself. While sitting in the parked car the witness told of his childhood sighting and both heard two-footed sidestepping cross the barn where moonlight showed through a gap. When backing out the witness clearly saw a woman in old-fashioned dress with bonnet and apron behind the car and thought he had struck her. He got out to check, found nothing under or around the car, and both left shaken.

A couple days after the grunt, an opaque ball of light with contents inside appeared just beyond the porch railing and held position. When the witness stepped closer it backed off, moved around the house to the garden fence, and blinked out. It returned the next night with the same behavior, this time also seen by the witness's son.

While living on Lake Murray, the witness was on the back porch when a large ball of light bigger than an exercise ball came through the yards toward the lake. She asked her husband if he saw it, but he did not. It returned the same way then disappeared without being seen leaving over the lake.

The witness was driving home on a two-lane highway in north-central Arkansas after sunset when a fast, reddish-haired ape-like animal carrying a raccoon in its mouth ran into the road. He struck it squarely with his car at highway speed, feeling a violent impact that was heard by his girlfriend on the phone. After stopping he found no damage to the car and no airbag deployment, but extensive blood on the passenger side, yet no body, blood, hair, or raccoon at the impact site. He also describes a brief dull flash at impact and time seeming to slow.

About a month to a month and a half after the Yosemite trip, the witness parked on a roadside in Sequoia and slept in the camper shell of a small truck. The truck was shaken side to side. Looking through the rear window, the witness saw a huge eight-foot primate-like creature holding the truck, which then squatted to look inside before walking across the road into the woods.

While alone on a survival trip last November, the guest walked to a fork in a river and saw a large female creature standing about 150 yards away watching him. He photographed it, then stepped aside and photographed a small 2.5 to 3-foot brown baby in the bushes looking toward the adult. That night at camp he heard a pop, and the walking stick he had left by the campfire was found lying beside his hammock in the morning.

From a knob about a mile away, the researchers crested a ridge and looked toward a female in a small opening. She immediately grabbed a juvenile and walked away. The guest took a photo and interpreted the reaction as extreme shyness at great distance.

The witness drove into the mountains near Shaver with his dog for a day hike to clear his head. About fifteen feet away a reddish female creature stood up from behind a manzanita bush while a large black male charged down from about two hundred yards away. The witness covered his dog in a fetal position until the male stopped close by, then tossed an apple which the female grabbed and ate whole before both walked toward the ridge. Afterwards he found a reddish puddle of blood behind the bush and left quickly.
Paranormal encounter
As a young adult home alone with doors and windows locked, the witness felt watched, grabbed a pistol, and saw a pitch-black crouched figure with glowing coal-red eyes and a wide grin at the foot of the bed. As he prepared to shoot, it vanished instantly without fading or running.

The witness reported a trail camera photo showing an anomalous black cat sprinting through the woods on the property. He noted such cats are not supposed to occur in the area despite local reports.
