The guest, then 10, was watching TV while his grandmother was in the bathroom and his parents were out. He saw a man walk from the kitchen into his grandmother's bedroom. He alerted his grandmother and searched the room with his father's rifle, but no one was there.
Nighttime encounter by three brothers in northern Alberta
Three boys were herding cows home at night when the cows and dog fled near a granary by a ravine. They ran around the building and came face to face with a tall, dark, fur-covered human-like animal holding grain that stared at them briefly. The animal then turned and walked quickly on two legs into nearby bush. The boys later verified the wool coveralls were still at home and that a neighbor had not been on the property.

The witness had recently moved into a farmhouse and was on the front porch in the morning with relatives when a large hair-covered creature emerged from a nearby barn. The creature stepped over a hog-pen fence and walked away to the west. Later that day the witness found large five-toed footprints near the barn, and the household heard loud banging and howling sounds around the property through the following winter and spring without seeing the creature again.

The witness and a companion were driving on a wet highway after rain and came close to a creature in the road apparently eating frogs. When it noticed the car it stood upright and quickly left the road, climbing a steep rock wall without using its hands. The pair were frightened and drove quickly past the spot. As a child at her family's Manitoba farm, the witness was picking Saskatoon berries with her mother when she noticed a large reddish-brown hair-covered creature standing very close and picking and eating berries by hand. After she got her mother's attention, her mother screamed and pulled her back to the farmhouse, and the witness did not see the creature leave. The encounter happened on a bright sunny afternoon at less than 15 feet distance.

The animal bellowed, ran on two legs and stepped over a barbed-wire fence toward a creek, and no sign was found the next day.

In the summer of 1959 the witness was working as a counselor at a wooded Girl Scout camp. Over roughly two weeks, staff repeatedly heard footsteps moving through the tent area after dark, saw a dark figure near a hut, and found a director's tent ransacked, with deputies searching each day without finding anyone. On the final night the group heard extremely loud screams that moved from near a remote tent toward a pond and creek and found a large maple branch freshly broken off, leading the witness years later to wonder if the visitor had been a Bigfoot.

A teenager checking muskrat traps before school with a dog noticed the dog staying close and growling. On a steep bank the witness saw a tall hair-covered figure with a non-human face and a foul smell. The figure quickly walked and ran away across a field, stepping over a six-foot gate without touching it. The witness left without finding tracks because the ground was frozen and snow later covered the area.

The witness, then a teenager, was riding with his brother and a friend in an old pickup checking irrigation on his father's walnut ranch when they spotted a tall hairy biped moving through the orchard. They chased it by farm roads as it ran uphill diagonally across a 40-acre block, stopped to watch it pass close by, then followed it across more blocks until it crossed a road and disappeared into dense brush on a neighboring property. Afterwards they inspected its long strides in wet ground and decided not to tell his father for fear of losing their irrigation job.

As a child hunting in snowy woods along a creek, the witness came over a hill and watched a tall black hairy figure moving around a stick hut in a blackberry patch and picking berries. After the figure noticed the witness, it left very quickly. The witness then reported a multi-hour gap with no memory of leaving before arriving home.

The witness reported seeing a tall, sandy-brown apelike creature walk down a ridge and cross the utility road about 40 yards away. The witness remained still, did not shoot, and said the creature did not appear to notice them.

The witness hiked to a deserted mine on a mountain in the afternoon and encountered an upright hair-covered female creature at close range. The creature approached, squatted to strip and eat leaves, noticed the witness, vocalized, and walked away into timber, later appearing briefly on a distant ridge. The witness considered shooting it for science but refrained, then examined droppings and a bedding spot.
