Three family members were bank fishing in the early evening when they heard rustling across the road and felt they were being watched. They then noticed a skunk-like smell, heard a low grunt/growl sound and a large branch break. They watched a large tree get pushed over and fall, then left immediately without ever seeing a creature.
Native American elder observes a deer being chased
An elder witness watching from his front porch saw a deer running fast across a field with a large grey bipedal creature chasing it. The creature reportedly used its arms and legs in a loping run. Both animals left view, after which the witness heard the deer bleat, then a thump, then silence.
Family has possible encounter at Cedar Lake Equestrian Camp
A group of four campers spent the evening at an equestrian campsite beside the forest. After hearing walking sounds and a faint scream-like sound, they watched nearby treetops shake violently while hearing cracking and rattling branches. The shaking then stopped abruptly leaving the woods silent, frightening the group into dousing the fire and going inside. A next-morning search found no footprints or fallen limbs.
Daylight sighting between Broken Bow and Little River
The witness and a companion went into woods behind a relative's house to investigate dead fish found earlier by a pond. While the companion stepped away, the witness heard a noise and saw a furry figure peeking from behind a tree 50 to 75 yards away. The figure stepped sideways into full view, and the witness fled running back to the house. The companion did not see the creature.

The witness and a companion stopped while hiking and watched a reddish primate-like figure peeking from behind trees and brush about 100 feet away. The figure watched them for several minutes, moved away, then reappeared to peek briefly several more times over about 15 minutes. During the encounter they also heard movement in ravines on either side.

Two companions camping with a companion's child heard ape-like calls and slow loud knocks near a creek in the evening and knocked back with logs. Rocks were thrown into camp, and at night something bipedal walked around and brushed the tent while making sniffing sounds at the seams. The activity continued over several days with more distant knocks that seemed to approach, another large rock landing near the witness, and an ice chest found opened.
BFRO investigator hears loud footsteps and bipedal running
On the third night of an expedition, the witness waited alone in an elevated platform near a creek during a broadcast stakeout. Starting around 11:30 PM, he heard slow heavy footsteps pacing back and forth nearby for about two hours without ever seeing the source. After radio contact with the approaching team, he heard a loud plopping sound followed by rapid bipedal splashes moving up the rocky creek bed. A later daylight check found a boulder-covered creek with no tracks.

After the fire died the witness lay in the tent and heard loud breathing approach, stop behind the tent blocking moonlight, shuffle the cooler, then sniff at his head. He yelled and hit the tent, after which it urinated on the tent, hollered loudly and left breaking and twisting high pine branches. Next morning he found large compressed impressions and damaged branches.

The witness had been retrieving items from a storage shed with friends and stayed behind to latch the door, then hurried to catch up. Hearing rustling leaves, he stopped and saw a large dark hairy figure about 15 feet away on the other side of a chain-link fence. He watched for about 30-45 seconds, hearing heavy breathing and an intermittent deep growl, then slowly walked away out of fear.

The witness and a companion were fishing in the evening when they heard loud breathing and grunting sounds approaching from across the river. Animals and birds were seen moving away from the sounds while branches were seen and heard breaking nearby, followed by a loud splash. Believing the source was upset by their presence, they left the area and the witness reports not returning to fish there.

The witness arrived before dawn to bowhunt from a tree stand overlooking a creek. After sunrise the surrounding wildlife fell silent, several rocks were thrown toward the stand from behind, followed by loud footsteps, branch breaking, heavy breathing and a musky odor approaching to within a few yards behind the witness. After remaining behind the witness for several minutes and emitting a snarling growl, the unseen presence retreated uphill, after which wildlife sounds resumed and the witness left the area.

Three hunters camped in a river bottom over the opening weekend of bow season. Over several days and nights they reported heavy impacts, rustling, a skunk-like odor, red eyeshine, wood knocks, whistles, talk-like mumbling, a whoop-ending vocalization, and bent trees and branch structures. The most intense moment was a predawn episode with a deep guttural roar followed by a scream-like sound near camp. They left early after smelling the odor again near a plum thicket.

Several large mesquite trees were shaken from the base at once while he felt rumbling pressure in his chest. He kicked to shore, abandoned his gear in waders, and drove out through brush.
