On editing he found a recorded voice he presents as Native American speech about shedding hair and grease, plus a distant hey-like yell heard at the time. He leaves interpretation to viewers but says it changed his view on non-natural aspects.

The witness and companions arrived at the family cabin after dark and parked on the hill above it. While unloading with the trunk open they heard a very loud stick break and shuffling in the brush that seemed to track their movements. One companion shined a light, saw nothing, then ran to the cabin followed by the witness.
