Over several years the witness has explored trails and off-trail woods outside the city near the river where few people leave the trail. He has found multiple tree structures close to trails and snapped saplings in areas with no recent wind. Recent finds included a pine branch leaning against a tree far from pines and a tall snapped sapling beside an untouched rotten sapling.

While leaving a mountaintop lodge, the witness drove down a rough dirt road to an overlook and noticed an odd tree formation beside a well-worn footpath up a steep slope. A small pine sapling had been twisted and snapped, and a longer tree had been bent into an arc with its top jammed into the ground. He photographed it and later received confirmation from an anthropologist contact that it resembled a Sasquatch trail marker.

While scouting alone for deer in northern Maine, the witness found an exceptionally large, deep bare footprint beside a creek and radioed his hunting partner to come see it. While waiting, rocks were thrown toward him and a deep growl was heard, and a very tall hairy creature then charged out of thick cover. His partner shot the animal at close range, they briefly examined the body and smelled a strong odor, then heard knocks and a distant howl and fled to their vehicle where they saw two additional similar creatures before leaving camp for good.

Later that night the writer and her younger brother sat by a dying beach fire when snapping and rustling approached to about twenty feet. Something huge then charged like a freight train through brush to roughly ten feet from them and stopped instantly at the brush line. They froze, then retreated to the houseboat hearing nothing more.

The witness and a research partner spent a fall day and night investigating cemetery woods where a tree knock silenced distant dogs and revealed stick structures, including a large carousel-like formation of trees suspended off the ground. While leaving for a vehicle parked by a trail entrance, they saw tall amber eyeshine behind the vehicle that did not flee as they approached. The witness felt they were being hunted, placed the vehicle door between the companion and the unseen animal, and fled rapidly when the eyes went dark.

One morning on the lawn the witness heard tiny baby whoops chasing a squirrel above his cat. He moved to stand by the cat and got too close to the juvenile. The mother grunted to the baby, the baby joined her, and she stormed off knocking over trees, swinging between large branches, then dropping behind the garden.

While bow hunting for bear from a drop-off spot, the witness felt terrified. He heard a tree get knocked over and then the sound of it being ripped apart, which frightened him greatly.

A few years later while grouse hunting alone without his dog, the guest left the trail toward the mountains and encountered a tall red sasquatch with blonde patches walking toward him. It rushed, leapt into a spider crawl while puffing its cheeks, tracked and intercepted him through choke points, yanked and broke branches, and confronted him at close range in a clearing with snapped trees and scattered moose bone piles before he ran out.

On a hike the next day the witness found several odd tree breaks, a possible nest site, a large log balanced high between two trees, and a pine pushed into a mound. The witness photographed the finds and remained skeptical about their cause.

On review he and others thought the video and screenshot showed the tree being pulled down and a cloaking-like figure. He did not see the figure in person.

Soon they heard movement, a log picked up and smashed against rock, high-pressure tree snaps, and about a thirty-pound boulder tossed from fifty yards away. It ended with a loud exertion huff as wood broke, which frightened them and they left.

After stepping past it his phone's Siri triggered without a voice command, then a rock came over cedar thicket and landed 12 to 15 yards away. They backed down the hill facing the area and left for the truck.
