On a foggy morning at Harlan Swamp the witness watched a huge shape wade water pushing bushes aside, then saw large pines whipped and snapped into the pond. Returning with his friend, they found flattened ferns, heard a deep vocal and juvenile-like chatter, and fled to the car.

The witness heard whistling he answered, then loud tree knocks like baseball bats and heavy footsteps that stopped and knocked again. Searching found new stick structures including a cedar cage-like hide. Into spring multiple trees fell with cracking, five in two days and eight total, including one he watched fall across the creek.

On the same trail used after the elk incident, the witness found a healthy ten to twelve foot tree lying where she walks. It had been ripped off with bark broken around, not cut, and appeared placed there. She photographed it and interpreted it as a warning to stay away.

While the crew picked below a hill, the witness saw a huge hairy creature come through trees breaking limbs and stop about thirty yards away staring at him. He shouted for the crew to get in the van and fired a pistol over its head, after which it left keeping eyes on him. His dog chased it, yelped, and was later found dead high in a tree near demolished structures and heavy rims in a tree.

While walking back up a road in pitch darkness after calling, the witness and a companion heard brush movement. Something shook a tree violently beside them, took two steps and stopped. A second branch break behind them suggested they were being flanked, so they retreated to their trucks.

The witness scraped bark off a small tree at shoulder height to mark a deer trail he could see from his sitting spot. Two weeks later the same tree was snapped over opposite the prevailing wind, still attached, higher than his head and too thick to break by hand. It remained that way for a long time.

A few weeks before the interview after snow melted, the witness and another person found very large, deep, human-like footprints crossing their hiking trail from the forest toward the lake. The prints were not on their own walked path. The witness photographed them with a foot for scale and noted many snapped trees along trails to the lake.

Two nights after being hit, the witness returned to the lower area with his brother. After standing by the truck, they heard popping like gunfire, interpreted as mimicry, followed by large trees snapping like twigs. They drove out while still hearing popping and trees coming down.

After hours of calling without response at another site, the group walked back in the dark and heard rustling by a tree. Something then shook a good-sized tree and huffed very close while another source broke a branch behind them. One companion drew a firearm and was told to put it away.

The witness says that while camping very deep in the forest in the Perry Sound French River area he sensed beings running through the forest. They were very active, breaking branches and moving fast through trees as if they did not want him there. He turned around and left out of respect.
Whoop near Vida, Oregon
The witness and a friend heard two loud whoops beside a logging road and became frozen with intense fear. From a thicket they then heard a vibrating alligator-like inhalation, a lion-like purring growl, and then a screaming roar while trees shook violently. They fired shotguns over the trees, ran past the spot feeling a presence above them, and the grandmother later suggested they had run into a bigfoot.

The witness was dropped off alone on old logging roads to walk back to his grandmother's house. Three deer emerged from a ravine behaving fearfully and passed very close without reacting to him. He then heard a large live green tree crack and crash down despite no wind, after which he hurried back to the house.

On a trail in Washington the guest found two healthy trees about five inches thick on opposite sides of the trail pushed over in the same direction. The breaks were white and fresh with no chain or tool marks. He interpreted it as something walking up the trail pushing them over as a marker.

While feeding fish at the pond with a relative and her friend, distant lightning approached and a branch snapped loudly twenty-five yards away in a tree. The witness felt they were being told to leave immediately. They drove to the house and within two steps inside a severe hail and lightning storm hit.

At the pond the witness found a fresh limb broken above his reach pointing toward a trail, with smaller nearby limbs unbroken and a footprint toward the tree. Photos were taken. When he returned with the handyman, that high limb was gone, broken off two feet up and daubed with pond mud to look old.
Wood knock
The guest went with a group to a remote cemetery reached by a long walk. Just inside the gate a large tree fell in the woods nearby and they heard a loud wood knock. He took this as a sign they were in an active location.

The guest sat alone at night with his back to a tree and recorders placed elsewhere. A large tree behind him cracked and fell nearby, then he heard heavy steps walking away. He left for his truck, abandoning his recorders, and retrieved them the next day.
