Vocalization in New Hampshire
After the family guard dog died, the household noticed an absence of bears, deer and other animals and a series of odd events. Large and strategic trees blocked paths to the creek, owl-like hoots and coyote-like sounds approached each other then turned violent, and something breathed, growled, scraped and slapped at windows, trailer and shed, mostly when the witness worked nights. The other dog became afraid to go out alone.

Two campers rode horses with pack mules to set up a remote deer camp and found a fresh large footprint crossing the trail, which they photographed. After arriving near sunset they heard rhythmic pounding and whooping sounds around camp. They retrieved tape recorders and began recording the sounds.
Tree break in Tennessee
A couple with a dog camped and fished for three days with no one else around and experienced small disappearances of glasses. While fishing near the car with no wind, a large live tree snapped and fell toward the car, landing in another tree above the spouse and dog. The next morning while packing, a bag left on a picnic table near the dog vanished despite no one else being around, and the dog seemed on edge.
Scream
The witness describes ongoing activity at a hunting lease including screams, deer disappearing in mid-November to mid-December, and broken trees. A trackway across a drying pond was found with a long stride and one print was cast. Game cameras captured images and a height estimate was made by measuring at the site. A hunting partner also reported hearing multiple trees snap and feeling compelled to leave, with breaks later found several feet high.
Vocalization in Kansas
While walking near a creek the witness heard something wading bipedally through water and making a lip-rattling sound similar to one the witness often makes. The witness tried to parallel it to see through an opening but only caught a brief flash of light auburn hair. After circling, the witness found a wet step on a root and bark pulled back where something appeared to have climbed out, but saw nothing further.

The witness noticed elk rubs that looked wrong, later described as small trees with trunks twisted and broken off high without antler scraping or claw marks.

The witness and companions found an area up the hill with a branch-bordered depression, additional depressions, snapped trees, branch huts, spread-finger handprints, and several footprints forming a path toward the house.
Whoop
Another person stopped to photograph old equipment and over an hour heard hoots and screams, breaking limbs and thrown rocks from two directions before leaving.

On the group's first night at the same campsite, they heard several distant tree breaks they dismissed as regular forest noises.

About a year later the same couple returned to Highway 128, made whoop calls, then heard wood knocks and tree breaks and smelled a dead animal/skunk odor for about three minutes.

During a July 1996 daytime search near Bluff Creek, the witness crossed to a glade and found a small cedar with its top freshly twisted off several feet up. The break and stripped bark looked moist and recent, and the detached top lay at the base. The witness photographed the tree and carried the top back to camp.

About 12 years earlier the witness and a relative were deer hunting at daybreak when a strange-acting deer approached, they shot it, then heard a loud roar-growl turning into a scream, with branches breaking and limbs and large rocks thrown toward them until they abandoned the kill and left.

That night at camp after a companion made a mock howl, the party heard timber cracking and a large tree fell near camp.
Hunters are intimidated out of their hunting ground near Bear Valley
Two deer hunters reported that after a rock flew over their heads in a meadow, something unseen paralleled them down a trail for about a mile while throwing or rolling large rocks alongside them. Back at camp that night all four hunters heard a large tree fall across the creek after noticing an unusual absence of wildlife all day. Believing something did not want them in the valley, the group packed up and left that night.
Whoop near Clayton, Washington
On another afternoon something disturbed the roofless chicken pen with branch breaking and repeated whoops, leaving broken branches and causing chickens to roost higher.
