Man sees ape-like animal in back yard
The owner heard noises by his fenced trash area late at night and went to look with a rifle. He saw an ape-like animal outside the fence, fired into the air, and watched it stand up with its shoulders and head above the 6-foot fence before fleeing through bushes toward the woods. Footprints were left only in soft dirt by the bushes and one was preserved as a plaster cast.
Annapolis resident sees 9-10ft shadowy figure in driveway at 1:30am
The witness's brother spent the night alone in a camper parked in the driveway. Around 1:30 a.m. he watched a shadow move across the curtained window and translucent roof, apparently cast by a neighbor's porch light, as something slowly circled the camper while lightly tapping its sides. The next morning the family found fingerprint smudges, a large handprint, and large toeprints in spilled sand.

Long trail of 13" long human-like footprints found in deep snow and rough terrain
The witness was backpacking alone on a steep, snow-covered trail when they found large bare human-like footprints heading the same direction for about a mile and a half. The witness initially dismissed them as a possible hoax and chose not to photograph them. Overnight rain melted the snow, and the footprints were gone by the descent the next day.

The witness found mulch piles ripped apart, food items missing or bitten, garden vegetables stomped, and two sets of footprints of very different size and stride.

The witness was spending the weekend at a friend's house when the group heard loud high- and low-pitched screaming on a summer Saturday night. Three of them walked toward a field near a river with a flashlight and saw red eyes in the brush while hearing limbs breaking, then ran back to the house. Screaming reportedly continued for hours, and the next midday they found a snapped vine, bark torn high on a tree, disturbed ground, and a partial large heel print.

Later that night the camp group was awakened by a heavy rushing noise between the tents ending in a stream splash, and in the morning found an overturned picnic table and additional large footprints.
