In 2004 the witness was watching television in an outdoor covered porch at night and turned it off after hearing a noise. A very loud screaming roar was then heard close in front of the house, sounding three times while apparently moving along the driveway, with the last call ending in sounds like mimicked dog barks. The witness's parents also heard the sounds and nearby dogs reacted strongly.

The sounds started like a woman screaming and were followed by rapid chatter likened to reversed human-like conversation. The guest was deer hunting from a power line easement and was walking back to the truck in late afternoon when a baseball-sized rock hit his chest and a creature screamed and ran toward him. He dropped his rifle, reached the truck, and when the creature came over the truck bed within feet while screaming, he shot it with a pistol above the left eye. The creature screamed and fled through the woods, and as he drove away a soccer-ball-sized rock struck his truck.

The witness reported driving on a country road when a large creature crossed and stopped in front of the car. After the witness brightened the headlights, the creature approached, struck the car and leaned on the hood while screaming loudly. The witness reversed around it and drove away while still hearing it screaming in the distance.

The witness and a companion went to night-fish a muddy runoff pond beside dense woods. From very close range they heard an extremely loud, powerful scream that felt physically intense but they could not locate any source despite scanning with flashlights. They left the area quickly without seeing anything.
Hunter hears odd clicking noises while scouting
The witness hiked to a deer stand while hearing repeated groups of clicking sounds for about 45 minutes but could not locate the source on the ridge. While walking back out of the woods, the witness heard something large approach and stop behind them. The unseen source then made a very loud close grunt and, after the witness chambered a round, a loud guttural scream/grunt. The witness never saw the source.

Two people talking loudly while hunting heard two or three loud, high-pitched screams described as like a sick cow. They took cover behind a log as loud branch-breaking and thumping sounds seemed to approach them, then the sounds stopped abruptly and they left the area quickly.

The witness was tracking elk sign alone in the late afternoon when he smelled a foul odor, felt watched, then saw several large bipedal animals scatter through thick brush and fled back to camp. Around 2 a.m. the whole camping party was awakened by very loud, prolonged yowl-like screams preceded by banging sounds. The party left the area after daybreak.

The witness then saw a very tall white human-like form running through that yard with its head turned toward them. The witness and companions were camping on a hilltop overlooking a valley and creek. Late at night the witness heard heavy bipedal steps climb a steep slope, stop, then run into the forest, sounds the companions also heard. About two hours later the group heard a single very loud scream that briefly silenced forest sounds. Around 2 or 3 AM a companion awoke to see a large arm reaching through the van window for food, and food was found missing and spilled, with gouges seen on the slope the next morning.

While canoeing down a wooded fork of a river, the group smelled decay and then saw a dark creature watching them from the trees. The creature followed them along the bank, ran ahead to a river bend, splashed and climbed the opposite bank, then later crossed an open clearing. About 20 minutes after the last sighting the group thought they heard shrieks shifting from high to low pitch.

Three people fishing from a boat along a densely vegetated shoreline heard rustling and thrashing suggesting a very large animal nearby. They then heard a very loud, chilling shrill that frightened them, prompting them to leave quickly. As they left, they continued to hear the animal moving rapidly through dense woods uphill and repeating the shrill at intervals until it was roughly a quarter to half mile away.

The witness and two companions made a late-night camp in a forest clearing. While trying to sleep the witness heard movement in the treeline followed by a grunt and a loud unfamiliar scream estimated 50 to 100 yards away. In the morning the group found unfamiliar prints beside the fire pit and then left the area.

The witness and companions were camping and sitting around a campfire at night when they heard a very loud, unfamiliar scream-like sound from the woods below camp. They listened for about 25 minutes as the sound circled the camp while hearing something large moving through brush. No visual sighting was made, and the group only jokingly suggested Bigfoot at the time.

The witness was sleeping outside on the fringe of a large group camp in a remote pine forest when awakened around 1:30 a.m. by a loud, unfamiliar scream and sounds of a large animal moving through brush within about 20 yards. Too frightened to look, the witness hid in a sleeping bag. A similar scream was heard again one to two hours later farther off, and other campers also reported hearing the wails.
