Late at night while preparing for bed, the witness heard a very loud and frightening scream lasting about 22 minutes. The sound was compared to a published recording of alleged Bigfoot sounds and was described as seeming to come from two separate animals. No visual contact was reported.

The sounds appeared to circle the camp and continued despite banging pots and pans and firing a shotgun into the air. The group packed up and waited in their truck until about 4 a.m. while the sounds persisted, then left. They later found openly left food untouched and found no tracks.

While rounding a bend near piled flood debris, the witness briefly saw a small dark biped walk up a log and disappear. The sounds started low and guttural then rose to a high wavering pitch and repeated after a pause, causing neighborhood dogs to react loudly. Just before dark a loud crashing noise approached the camp from the creek, and the witness banged cooking pots to scare it away. About ten minutes later a loud drawn-out scream was heard from across the lake. The witness stated the scream was unfamiliar despite lifelong familiarity with local wildlife sounds.

The witness was sitting on a house porch late at night with several housemates. After hearing a tree crash in the nearby woods, they heard an extremely loud guttural roar from just inside the treeline. The group was stunned and quickly went inside without speaking.

While on night patrol, the witness responded to a companion's report of something standing by trees behind a building and shone a spotlight into the woods. A very large upright hairy creature holding a branch was seen, which then dropped the branch, looked back with red eyeshine, screamed, and ran away with a strong odor left behind. The witnesses later found a large pine branch torn from about nine feet up.

Three teenagers were fishing and cooling off in a creek when something crashed down the steep hillside, threw a rock between them and screamed and roared. They scrambled to the bank and saw a large hairy human-like creature at close range making a display, tearing up ground and showing its teeth. They fled, leaving all their gear, and never returned.

The witness remained frozen, then backed out and fled to the truck and gave up hunting afterward.
