Couple have possible early morning sighting while driving outside Brattleboro
The witness and their spouse were driving east on Route 9 around 5:30 a.m. when their headlights illuminated a small bipedal figure crossing the road. The figure ran very fast into swampy reeds near a brook and disappeared. They did not stop, and said it did not match any familiar local animal.
Evening sighting by motorists on Tyson Road, off Route 100, outside Ludlow
The witness was driving with two relatives in the evening looking for moose. A tall, heavily built, dark-haired bipedal figure crossed the road about 50 feet ahead of the car in two strides. The witness and one relative saw it while the other relative did not. The figure turned its head toward the car as it crossed.

A very tall white-furred figure crossed the road ahead and paused on a hill by a wire fence, staring at the vehicle with reflective eyes. The occupants panicked and drove on without stopping.
