In broad daylight the witness was inside the house when movement caught his eye through the window about 30 to 40 feet away. A very tall hair-covered creature with gray leathery facial skin, an old-man-like face, heavy brow, huge hands and long arms was resting an arm on a tall stump and looking at him. After several seconds of eye contact it dropped behind the stump, ran upright across the two-lane road in a few explosive steps, and disappeared down the hill.

He tried to point and shout but was initially unable to speak, then asked a relative if she had seen it. The relative had been occupied and had not seen the figure but later said she believed him. He struck it squarely with his car at highway speed, feeling a violent impact that was heard by his girlfriend on the phone. After stopping he found no damage to the car and no airbag deployment, but extensive blood on the passenger side, yet no body, blood, hair, or raccoon at the impact site. He also describes a brief dull flash at impact and time seeming to slow.

The witness swerved to avoid it, then saw it on all fours before it stood on two legs and charged toward the car. The witness fled, felt a bump at the rear of the car, and saw the creature keep pace at highway speed before leaving the road.

Two friends camped off a gated logging road after noticing a possible tree structure. At night they heard knocks and breaking sticks, saw green eyeshine uphill, and the co-witness saw a smaller black creature with red eyes moving between trees. After a loud scream, they fled in their vehicle and both saw a very large gray-skinned creature in the headlights, then left the area.

They stopped close to it and saw sparse light hair, muscular torso, and a human-like grinning face with large teeth before it left in a single stride. Both occupants were left shaken.

Driving at night with brights on through an S-bend the witness saw a huge coppery-brown hairy figure on the road edge heading into the woods. He swerved to miss it, skidded and crashed into a landowner's driveway ditch, damaging the front end and requiring a tow. He later learned the landowner had livestock going missing and found shredded.
