While driving slowly up Mount Walker in dense fog with two companions, a huge dark mass crossed the road 50-60 feet ahead from an uphill slope to a steep downhill drop. They stopped, got out, and looked for tracks. They could not identify what it was but felt it was too large for a bear.

The figure moved with a fluid human-like arm swing but with same-side arm and leg moving together.
