A very large white figure estimated at about seven feet tall ran across the road in front of the car from one woodline to the other under high-beam illumination. The witness, a Marine designated marksman, was ordered to kill an aggressive animal near Lake D on a Navy base on the Georgia-Florida border. After hearing a splash and seeing a branch thrown into the water one evening, he returned the next evening and watched a tall, long-haired biped cross a road about 40 yards away. He shot it twice, and it collapsed and died. Superiors and two men in a white car secured the body, told him to stay in place and later to forget the incident, and no written statement was ever taken.

In March 2001 at about 4:30 a.m., the witness was driving home from work on back dirt roads when a tall bipedal figure crossed in front of the headlights in two to three strides. The witness and the relative searched the area shortly afterward and found no one, with the nearest heavy cover described as a quarter-mile away.

On the night of September 23, 2000, the witness and the witness's spouse were driving south on Highway 89 near Tahoma after dinner.
