The witness and a companion were asleep at home when they were awakened around midnight by a thump on a storage box beneath the bedroom window and sensations described as footsteps. The next afternoon they found two lines of large human-like barefoot prints in fresh snow leading toward and past the window, merging into one line before crossing the road toward a treeline. The larger prints were measured at 13 to 14 inches long with strides over five feet, while smaller prints were interpreted as a juvenile. Photos and measurements were taken before melt and wind degraded the tracks.

No blood was found, only partial tracks, and a conservation officer told them to keep quiet.

After an unsuccessful blood trailing, the doe was found the next morning on the main road with organs gone, neck snapped, and spine damage. The witness was waiting at home for grandchildren to return when she saw a large dark bipedal figure crossing an open field and heading out of town. She estimated its height from nearby trees and heard it roar and bang trash bins or dumpsters as it moved southwest behind houses and a store. Dogs and coyotes howled as it continued toward a racetrack and treed creek area.

The witness and her husband were awakened after midnight by strange sounds from their children's bedroom heard through a baby monitor, including squeaking at the window and a thump against the house wall. After the husband turned on exterior lights, the witness saw a large shadow move quickly away from the house toward nearby woods. Shortly after, both heard a very loud double whoop vocalization twice, which the husband said could not have been an owl.

The witness was asleep at home and was awakened in the middle of the night by her rabbit's kennel being rattled on the front porch. From bed she saw a large dark hairy figure standing off the porch and looking in the window for an extended stare. Her dogs remained silent and still, and the figure left when she tried to wake her husband, who saw nothing.

The visitor opened food containers, ate bread, growled, overturned a cooler and carried off meat before leaving toward the river where vocalizations were heard. Large footprints and teeth marks were found the following morning.

The witness and a companion carried makeshift torches toward the woods at dusk but turned back at the tree line. A large grey figure rushed toward them from the woods, prompting them to flee to the house. After waiting inside, they saw a large grey ape-like creature squatting in the field watching them, then retreated again. Overnight they heard commotion, and next morning found shredded torches, a belt torn with teeth marks, and dents in a parked car.

At night the group had wood chunks and pebbles thrown at them and heard loud whooping, and companions heard splashing while night fishing. The next morning companions reported a hairy bear-like figure by fish guts, the woodpile was toppled, and a beaver dam was found destroyed with a pulled-apart carcass. While squirrel hunting along the creek the guest and his companion watched a five-foot ape-like creature wading and looking in the water, which approached his companion then left after clicking sounds were exchanged with another unseen individual.

From the tent flap the witness watched a tall broad ape-like creature pry open the troop food box and eat bread and donuts. After another boy shouted bear, the creature stood upright, tore down the tarp, vocalized, then walked quickly between the tents into the woods.

During a family stay at a remote lake cabin the witness's stringer of catfish was found cleaned and lined up. Exploring uphill along a stream he watched a small hairy human-like figure play in a dammed pool, smash crawdads together and eat them. When it beckoned him closer he backed away and returned to the cabin without telling anyone.
