One smelled an unfamiliar odor and shone a spotlight, spotting an animal behind a barn picking objects from the ground and blocking the light with its hand. As she passed the crossing point, she saw a massive upright creature with long gray hair and a large white patch on its broad chest on a small hill. She returned after work and found no tracks but noticed a strong smell likened to fresh meat.

The witness was driving on a highway through forest and swamp late at night when a small fox-like animal ran along and across the road. Immediately after, a large upright shaggy creature leapt across the highway in front of the car from right to left and disappeared into roadside vegetation. The witness reported a foul odor just before the sighting and glowing amber eyes reflecting the headlights, and swerved slightly before continuing home shaken.

Around midday the witness went to check on barking dogs in a pen behind the home. There he encountered a tall, hair-covered figure pulling at the pen wire, which turned to face him before fleeing toward the forest. A relative who ran outside also saw the figure running away. No physical evidence remained the next day after an overnight thunderstorm.

The witness, then age 13, rode a bike up the road to get a newspaper with a dog alongside and noticed a strong onion-like odor. In a hollow beside the road the witness saw a very large, light-brown hair-covered creature eating wild grapes that looked at the witness and moved toward them. The frightened witness fled home on the bike as the dog also ran home, then looked back to see the creature climb over a fence and go back into the forest.

Three of them walked toward a field near a river with a flashlight and saw red eyes in the brush while hearing limbs breaking, then ran back to the house. Screaming reportedly continued for hours, and the next midday they found a snapped vine, bark torn high on a tree, disturbed ground, and a partial large heel print.

The creature shook the van and was lit by brake lights, then the father fired a shotgun from the porch and it leapt across the driveway into the woods. Later that night rocks were thrown at the trailer damaging a fan and siding, and next morning bent van metal, foot impressions, feathers and a missing chicken were found.
