While breaking camp the next morning the guest's husband pointed out sticks in front of the guest's car. The guest found a large X made of two identical sticks each with a V at the top, placed on grass with no other sticks around.

The witness and friends camped regularly on private rural property where deer and coyotes once stampeded through camp. Over years they found stick structures and X shapes, had objects thrown at them, found ammunition placed in the fire pit, heard huge limbs snapping, and glimpsed juveniles with sign of larger ones.
