On one occasion the guest saw the floodlight trip and watched a figure run beside the house into bushes with the lake beyond. When he went to look, something slapped the back of the house, which he interpreted as a distraction by another individual.

A couple weeks later the team brought another research group to the same area. While half stayed by the vehicles, both groups reported seeing a light that looked like an approaching flashlight, though no one was between them. Those by the vehicles saw a light rise from the ground to light the canopy twice and drop back down.
Scream in Guadalcanal
Alone up a river the witness followed a fresh game trail past a foul-smelling marked tree, then heard a loud scream below and movement above in thick jungle. He retreated into the creek as three creatures surrounded him, talking with clicks, showing dog-like eyeshine, and moving as shadows. In the last light one four-and-a-half to five-foot silhouette with long arms squatted at the water's edge staring before bolting when a laser pointer hit it, and he floated downstream to camp.

While driving an old forestry road the witness felt uneasy and stopped after spotting footprints up the middle of the clay road. He entered dense regrowth with a bush knife, camera and GPS after hearing a monkey-like noise, smelling a strong urine-like animal odor, and sensing being watched. The unseen animal crashed away through bamboo and he returned to the car.

The witness and friends were invited to a house for what was described as a prayer ceremony for family turmoil. In a window-sealed dark room a bound medicine man lay on a blanket with offerings while drumming, singing, shakers, flapping like a bird, a small green light, eating sounds, and a scream or children playing were heard. When lights returned the blanket was strewn, food was missing, and the man was unbound, and hours had passed unnoticed.

On a later night visit to the south fence line the group yelled and used a spotlight down a clearing. At the edge of the light they saw a tall dark shape run from one side of woods to the other, confirmed by two occupants. Both the witness and a companion then felt briefly dizzy and lightheaded, so they left.
Paranormal encounter near Baskett, Kentucky
Shortly after the strange sounds, the Kentucky guest and her husband saw a white misty shape like a tall person in the backyard. It rose, hovered above them, dissipated, and moved over the house on a clear summer night.

While packing up after dark on the river the witness heard something heavy run to one end of a pasture and then charge back past his car several times on two legs. The next day a tribal student warned him that spot belonged to Bigfoot and not to look it in the eyes.
Odor
While walking a dark cat road to a grouse spot the witness was hit by a powerful rotting stench. He loaded a slug expecting a bear, then a large log rolled down at him and something big crashed through brush across the hill. He hurried back to his motorcycle and left.

At about age 12 the witness found a gigantic bare footprint in a mud slick by an irrigated lettuce field. He tried to mimic it with his own foot and could not. Feeling watched and seeing a shadow move behind trees after branch snaps, he ran home.
UFO sighting in Georgia
On many occasions the witness saw what looked like a flashlight moving through the woods but steady rather than bouncing as a carried light would. He would tell his father but the light would be gone when they checked.

Around 1:35 am tent occupants woke to a raccoon on the table and heard movement around camp while the camper occupant heard something large walking in woods behind camp that left after the raccoon was scared off.
Unidentified sound near Morton, Washington
Several years before the interview, the guest was bass fishing with a club partner on a lake off Highway 12. For about 45 minutes they heard heavy branch-breaking and something moving along the shore paralleling their boat from about 20 yards offshore. His partner dismissed it as elk, but the size and single-animal character stuck in his mind and rekindled his interest in the subject.

While road hunting with family in a truck, the caller saw a creature standing beside the road behind a tree, holding the top bent over to look at them. They made eye contact for three to five seconds. When he looked away and back it was gone, the tree was swinging, and he glimpsed it moving downhill on all fours. After this he quit hunting.

The writer spent time hunting in swampy river bottoms and repeatedly sensed something moving with him but never saw anything or found tracks.
Sasquatch sighting in Wisconsin
While driving past a mowed field the witness noticed an unusually large dark stump where no stump was known to exist. After passing, the witness stopped and backed up within seconds. The shape was gone, inferred to have moved quickly into nearby kettle woods.

While walking in the woods on their North Texas property, the witness says on a couple of occasions something moved parallel to the group. The sounds stopped when they stopped, taking one or two extra steps. The family could not see what was making the noise.

Howl
Years earlier at an old farmhouse, the witness and his brother stood in the driveway listening to something moving through woods between houses. They heard branches breaking, movement across a road toward a power line trail, and a loud howl they did not recognize. They heard a second much fainter howl later suggesting great distance covered.
Odor
On the same Saturday evening, the group heard movement in brush, smelled a foul odor, heard snaps and a splash, felt watched, then saw trees thrashing and ran to the cabin.
