After a scream-roar and standoff where he lowered his aim off the juvenile, the adults retrieved the juvenile and withdrew silently to the treeline. He packed up, later had researchers trespass after his cousin told them, filled the hole, and sold the property.

From the car area she heard the same loud vocalization coming from across the lake where she had been and saw the fishermen hurrying across the dam, after which all parties left.

The figure left quickly while splashing through water, as a nearby cat reacted with alarm and neighboring dogs barked and fled.
