On another weekend the witness was leaning back on a four-wheeler with a rifle across his lap near the ravine edge when he heard close rock clacking ahead. Then from about fifty feet behind him in the forest came an extremely loud escalating bark-growl-roar that shook the vehicle and his body. A younger companion walking the ravine edge within fifty yards reportedly did not hear it at all.

The witness was working alone overnight operating noisy machinery at a mountain job site in the rain. He heard impacts on a metal container, then saw a dark upright figure by the trees that crept toward him as rocks were thrown. He fled to his car, struggled to open a locked gate, then faced a much larger red-eyed figure that snapped a branch, vocalized loudly, and bluff-charged. He escaped in his car with damage to the vehicle.

While visiting the cabin with two children, the niece reported growling outside her window. After checking outside, all three observed a beach-ball-sized dull white pulsating orb hovering between trees. Each drew the object separately the next morning and produced identical drawings.

While descending a mountain trail alone after climbing with companions, the rider stopped for unknown reasons and heard loud growling nearby that the mind reinterpreted as water. The rider felt suddenly hot and euphoric and began removing clothing despite cold wet weather until companions arriving and splashing through water broke the state. Later on the same ride the group found very large fresh human-like footprints without claws in untouched mud.

Over mid-trip nights the campers reported growls, rocks thrown toward camps, mimicry of laughter, odd beeping sounds, and scattered cans with bite marks.

The witness sat on the bunkhouse patio at night with his cousin and a visitor when they heard a long deep growl from about 30 yards away. When the witness cocked his revolver, it instantly changed to a loud aggressive screech. They fled inside and found nothing the next day.

In late summer the witness and a companion heard loud roaring growls near a creek, heard birds flush and limbs and rocks disturbed, and found a much larger-than-human barefoot print the next day.

The witness said he and a friend stopped to rest on a dried waterfall while hiking down a ravine in a Minnesota state forest when they heard a deep growl from close behind and above them. He said he felt the sound vibrate through his body and was too frightened to look. They ran without being pursued, and he later concluded it could have been a Sasquatch.

The witness and a companion were fishing at night under a river bridge when they found a fresh human-like track in the mud. They then heard loud roars ending in screams, heavy movement and thudding from across the river, had rocks thrown toward them, and heard splashing and grunting as they left. At the truck they found river mud spattered on the vehicle with a strong foul odor.

The witness was shadowed out of sight in the woods by something making loud steps, breaking limbs, and grunting.
Sasquatch sighting near Wheeling, West Virginia
While grilling on the porch after dark, the witness and others heard grunts, growls and whooping from the thicket. He saw dark silhouettes of three figures moving between bramble patches about 60-70 feet away. The group went inside afterward.

The witness was in a tree stand when he heard higher-pitched chatter and movement approaching, followed by a grunt, silence, and sounds of two things running downhill. Using his crossbow scope he saw a dark-skinned hand on an oak and then a face peering at him, later stepping into a shooting lane. After he lowered his bow the female left downhill where a loud pop and crashing was heard, and a healthy snapped tree was photographed the next morning.
