In moonlight they saw a large shape kneeling on the lawn that stood and ran across the lawn, through a puddle, and up a driveway. From a short distance away they heard loud banging like wood striking trees, saw treetops swaying, then heard very loud groaning and screaming vocalizations. The sounds paused while they walked away and resumed when they stopped, until they left the area.

The witness was walking alone on an old logging road into the forest when he noticed a dark, robust, hairy being crouched in thick brush watching him. The being paralleled him for 20-25 minutes, then crouched low when approached, producing a strange odor and low growl. After hearing large movement behind him, the witness retreated to the trail and watched the first being stand upright and stare, as a second much larger dark being appeared beside it before he ran home.
