Two investigators stood lights-out under an oak tree around midnight and heard bipedal steps approach rapidly. After turning on flashlights with nothing ahead, movement crashed through branches behind them and a large rock landed where they had stood. They retreated to camp while steps flanked and surrounded them and rocks continued falling.

Acting on a report and video of a large primate chasing deer, a group searched a Florida forest at night. The witness saw two heat signatures on thermal near a tree, then a tall figure ran toward other team members and away, leaving scat. On a separate camping trip out of hunting season in the same state park area, the witness heard a faint distant whoop-like vocalization, human-like footsteps, and something like a fast animal chase in the woods. Later he found a human trail with machete marks and cigarette butts, which angered him. Shortly after he encountered a DNR officer.

The witness had stopped on a dark dirt road in rain to clear leaves from windshield wipers. He heard splashing footsteps approaching from behind and saw the same hairy figure running up the road toward him. He got back in the car, lit the brake lights to see it, watched it leave into the woods, then drove on.
Footsteps in Texas
The witness went alone before dawn to hunt deer from a blind made of piled logs along a power line. Something on two feet shadowed and circled him in the treeline, slapping footsteps audible. After sunrise it stood close by an oak and pine near a fence, studying him and approaching and retreating as he moved, until he raised his rifle and fled through the fence to his truck.

The witness and a companion were camped by a remote pond after gunfire and music stopped and distress vocals were heard. They heard movement around them, heavy stomps, sticks breaking, and a large splash across the water. Using night vision the witness saw five upright figures on the far shore and they quickly packed and left, feeling they were in danger.
Sasquatch sighting in Kentucky
Two hunters with dogs were followed through wooded ridges at night and heard a thump behind them. When they turned with lights they saw a tall creature peering around a tree that did not flinch. They stayed calm and backed out, then the partner panicked when something grabbed and shook his hanging backup light.
Footsteps in Washington
While in college the witness went camping to scout for elk season near Quartz Mountain. At night around the fire the group heard bipedal footsteps circling camp from multiple sides and fired a handgun to stop it. The next day while grouse hunting alone the witness heard indistinct mumbling voices again and returned to camp.

Two researchers spent the afternoon and night at a remote gated pond campground. After daytime shooting and loud vehicle sounds stopped at dark, they heard long female-like woos answered by male-like moans, a heavy stomp, subtle brush movement, a guttural sound, and a heavy splash from a thrown log. Through night vision a companion reportedly saw five figures standing together across the water, prompting rapid packing and departure through the locked gate.
Unidentified sound in Nevada
The witness and a friend backpacked seven miles into a remote high lake and camped apart. Around 2 a.m. a loud slap, a mimicked crow call with a deep gurgly ending, and bipedal footsteps woke the witness. A massive wide-shouldered silhouette with a small-seeming head was seen swaying behind the light tent fabric, then moved around the tent for hours, charged at one point, and left near first light.
Scream in Saskatchewan
From an open stand in the afternoon, the witness heard extremely loud violent vocalizations and tearing brush from across the river for about 45 minutes. The river sound was drowned out. Afterwards bipedal-sounding footsteps approached to within several dozen yards but nothing was seen, and the witness waited in the stand until pickup.
Wood knock in Saskatchewan
The witness was placed in a blind before dawn on a paid whitetail hunt. Over about an hour he heard loud wood-on-wood knocks roughly every 15 minutes that seemed to approach from several hundred yards to near the blind. He later heard movement in a nearby ravine but could see nothing, and the trip organizer suggested the sound was a moose.

A paramedic and his partner got a flat tire on a rural wooded road in East Texas in the early morning after dropping off a patient. While working on the tire they heard approaching bipedal footsteps and a loud scream, then a rock and a log were thrown at the ambulance. The witness saw a large hairy humanoid with red eyes standing nearby making threatening displays, then it struck the ambulance hard enough to rock it. They stayed inside while multiple creatures vocalized around them until a supervisor arrived about 45 minutes later.

Two officers spent a day hiking between a park trail and the uncle's land into an unlogged old-woods area. They filmed a rock box containing grape stems, numerous large fresh tree breaks all pointing the same compass direction, and a large intertwined structure at the top. They felt followed, heard large movement above them, human-like mumbling, footsteps that mimicked one officer, and a squirrel that abruptly went silent.

A few years later the witness spent a freezing night alone under a tarp shelter on a bluff during a survival challenge. He heard bipedal footsteps approach to within a foot or two of the shelter, waited with his shotgun ready, then heard it take a few steps and go silent. He assumed it was a deer at the time but later noted it walked like a human.

After leaving Mesa Verde and hiking canyons for days, the guest camped at an ancient fire ring. The first night he heard voices and whispered footsteps pass by. The second night he woke to see a transparent old Indigenous man sitting by his fire, who then vanished.

After finding a parked car had been spun and scuffed, he lay awake in the tent hearing something slide down the valley wall, cross the creek, and knock over a cooler. A guest and his friend were walking at night on a large wooded property where they had gone to look for Sasquatch. They heard rustling, sounds like bipedal footsteps, and a whoop that rose into a loud scream, with coyotes vocalizing nearby. Startled by the scream, the guest jerked and accidentally shot his friend in the back, then helped evacuate him to get medical help.

The witness lived for two to three months in a rock overhang above a canyon stream, fishing with traps and hunting small game. A large hairy creature repeatedly raided his fish traps, exchanged rock throws, accepted camp bread, used a larger trap left for it and took deer remains. After an ice storm the witness developed severe pneumonia with high fever and could not tend his fire. He reported the creature looking in on him, leaving meat, a headless rabbit and herbs he boiled, then carrying him down the canyon over hours or days until a couple in a converted school bus found him and got him to a hospital.
Footsteps in Pennsylvania
The witness and his pregnant wife were in the White Rock area of Michaux Forest in the afternoon. While he tapped a stick on a boulder, they heard heavy footsteps nearby followed by loud rock clacks from the ridge. After driving a short distance to another road, they heard an extremely loud roar from the ridge area and immediately fled home.
