After crossing a fence they watched a tall hairy biped step over the fence and move between trees to watch them before heading toward a creek. About an hour later the witness returned with older female relatives and saw a different-colored hairy leg and foot watching them from behind trees near the road.

Around 2 a.m. the guest heard clicking and movement around tents and vehicles. After hours of activity, something lifted a Dutch oven lid, charged 30 feet, pushed a fist through his tent window and then pushed its face inches from his. He held a pistol, heard a voice telling him to kick his legs, did so, and the group left chirping. Urine, prints and handprints were found.
Vocalization
With eight to ten people on a hillside, the group heard something run 100 yards below through aspens at high speed breaking limbs while screaming and vocalizing. It then ran behind them grunting like a gorilla and slapping trees, continuing for hours until morning.

The witness then saw large red eyes and a huge upright figure at close range, froze in terror and prayed, then fled to the truck without clear memory of the retreat, later finding the dog on the road and abandoning the rifle.
