The witness says he and a companion were coon hunting at night when he felt watched. He saw bright eyeshine that blinked and turned in a tree, then something crashed down through brush toward sandbars to the west.

While hauling a load on unfamiliar back roads south of State College, the truck driver noticed a tall upright figure standing just outside the treeline atop a road bank watching traffic. He was drawn to its extremely bright red eyes and estimated it at six and a half to seven feet tall with wide shoulders, narrow waist, and light tan-brown hair. He had only a few seconds of viewing while passing at 30 to 100 feet and did not see it move.

While driving slowly through woods to shine deer fields with friends, the witness noticed orange-red eyes following the truck and made out a tall body shape. When the spotlight was on it froze, but when off it approached and could be heard walking. Deer in the field stared toward the woods and throwing sounds were heard before the group left.

A deputy walking up to a fire tower at night during a forest fire found a ranger hiding and then watched a tall long-armed creature across a clearing for almost a minute. It crouched, raked grass, stared, then backed into woods and circled while they left opposite way.

While sitting at a fire the witness noticed a light-colored figure watching from bushes toward a truck where a young person sat with a lantern. After being alerted, the second man shouted and the figure dropped and belly-crawled, with eyeshine still visible, before leaving.

After hours with no activity the group was at a remote lake when the witness lit large blue eyeshine behind a sapling. A spotlight revealed a tall figure with head and shoulders visible. It turned and walked away while others tried to flank it, and the eye height later measured about nine and a half feet.

Seven years after the paper-route events, while stationed in southern New Mexico, the witness drove at night with his girlfriend on a scenic road above the city. Both saw glowing eyes and a large silhouette step from one shoulder across the road and down a steep embankment. They agreed it was a Sasquatch and drove away.

After returning to the quarry area, the guest met an old woman who knew about the baby in the tree and invited him to her house. Over five or six visits he saw two juveniles inside the house sniffing and eating muffins, interacted with a young golden-haired female on the porch, saw many eyeshine when a TV played cartoons, and watched a huge alpha male called Papa talk with the woman outside at night before leaving.

The witness and two companions camped in a tent at the old shelter site after the shelter had been removed. In the evening the witness and one companion watched an elongated light move controlled through trees below the ridgeline toward the east. Later tree knocks were heard and the other companion reported a headlamp-like light approaching from rocks above camp, which was later discussed as possibly being eye shine, with no tracks found the next day.

As a child, the guest was woken when his grandmother said a man was staring through her high bedroom window. The guest and his father went outside with a gun and saw a very tall slender black silhouette with long arms standing at the end of the trailer by a drop into woods. The father shouted and fired into the air; the figure turned and went down the hill. The grandmother said she heard heavy breathing and saw hands and large eyes at the window.

After cleaning at a slaughterhouse the guest and his cousin followed a large buck to a field and turned around. The cousin shone a spotlight and stopped. The guest saw large red eyes about nine to ten feet high by a tree for a few seconds before it left. The cousin was shaken and refuses to discuss it.

Shortly after moving in, the witness walked to the yard edge with a headlamp to collect firewood. He saw widely spaced eyes reflecting light that stared without fleeing, which frightened him. He backed away, let dogs out that seemed unaware, and watched the eyes turn and shuffle away.

The witness met a fellow researcher and played recorded vocalizations in the evening. After over an hour of silence while packing equipment by the house, a cell light revealed eyes of a subject standing in a creek about forty yards away. It made eye contact, blinked, looked side to side, then disappeared as soon as movement for a camera occurred.
