Man recalls being picked up as a child in Mohican Memorial Forest
When the witness was 5 years old and camping with his parents in central Ohio, he became lost in the woods. He claims a large hairy female creature picked him up, carried him quickly through the forest, and left him in camp with a heavy branch on his legs where his parents later found him. He says his parents dismissed his account as imagination and he did not share it widely for decades.
Daylight sighting by woodsman of two bipeds stalking an elk
The witness was positioned on one mountainside watching across a valley toward an opposite slope where an elk was being stalked by two large brown animals first taken for bears. Viewed through binoculars, the two stood upright and walked on two legs, keeping the elk between them and at times hiding behind trees before entering heavy timber after about five minutes. The outcome for the elk was not seen, but the witness thought the pair probably killed it.
