Sasquatch sighting in Kandahar (2008)

At about 4:30 a.m. in the Kandahar mountains, twelve service members saw a silhouette eight to nine feet tall with matted grayish-brown fur and a large forehead. It whooped, yelled and growled while throwing baseball-sized or larger rocks that did not stop, with other similar voices answering nearby. Locals later said such beings live in mountain caves and are treated as spirits or guardians.

The Database of Unexplained Encounters. Claims are recorded as claims: the Anomadex catalogues what people reported, where it was reported, and how sure I am that it was read correctly. It does not rule on what they saw.

A quick ask from the person behind the Anomadex: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics shows me which places, phenomena and searches you're most curious about. That tells me which regions and sources to add next and what to make easier to find. It never sees your name or anything you send me, and nothing is set unless you say yes. Privacy
