A hunter walking a dense tunnel-like trail to place salt blocks exited into an open area and saw two large upright creatures about 25 yards away moving away toward the tree line. He watched the first in detail from the side and rear and glimpsed the second's back through trees, hearing footsteps in the grass but no vocalizations or odor. He then discarded the salt block, escorted his wife and child back to their vehicle, and left the area.

The witness family was tent-camping at a site on Mt [name withheld]. Between 1 and 4 a.m., after the husband re-entered the tent, the witness and her daughter saw a tall thin figure walk quickly past the tent in the dark and heard slipper-like footsteps on the road. The witness later heard loud chewing and lip-smacking behind the tent and noticed an unfamiliar animal smell. The sounds lasted about 20 minutes and stopped without footsteps after a distant camper door was heard.

He heard rustling and sounds of bipedal footsteps paralleling him and reported seeing a tall shadow behind a tree that vanished under direct light. A large branch landed near him, prompting him to fire a flare gun as a warning, after which something large crashed away through brush sounding like a heavy person running with long strides. He returned to find his companions asleep and did not report the incident until later.

They heard several loud noises likened to yelling or a panther cry, then both saw a large dark upright figure move quickly between tree rows. At dawn while driving to work, the witness scanned a pasture for deer and saw a tall man-shaped figure standing in grass about 30 yards from the road. The upper body and head were visible above roughly 3-foot grass, with an estimated total height of about 8 feet. The witness continued about a quarter-mile before being able to stop and return, by which time the figure was gone without a visible trail, and after watching several minutes continued to work.

Late at night the witness arrived home and got out of the car with a young dog, which ran toward a brushy stone wall barking aggressively. The witness shone a flashlight and watched a dark bulky shape with bright reddish-orange eyes move slowly, crouch behind a tree and peer out before standing taller. The witness first assumed it was a bear but later concluded it was a sasquatch.

The witness saw two tall hair-covered figures moving east in single file about 150 feet away, with the smaller following very closely behind the larger. The witness, a vendor at a weekend event in a state park, went out early the next morning to check the spot where a fisherman claimed an encounter. While walking a trail at sunrise, the witness heard talking-like sounds from a ridge and then saw two large black hairy figures. Late at night the witness was driving alone on a toll road toward the airport after slowing for a delayed flight and rain. About 10 feet from the roadside the witness saw a very large silver-grey coarse-haired figure with a very broad back and very wide shoulders moving very fast away from the road toward a fence, hunched or bent over. The witness stated it was unlike deer, turkey, hog, cow, bear or human commonly seen in the area.

On the ninth night of solo primitive camping, the witness was lying awake in a tent when a very loud thud sounded in front of the tent. Movement was then heard in palmettos beside the tent, followed by human-like whistles exchanged from opposite sides and a guttural growl from behind the tent. The witness stayed inside without looking out and found a snapped limb nearby the next morning before leaving camp early.

The witness was photographing along the tree line on the south side of the lake when she heard a close grunting-snorting sound followed by a deep growl without seeing the source. Shaken, she returned toward two fishermen and then left across the dam, photographing a large print in the mud. From the car area she heard the same loud vocalization coming from across the lake where she had been and saw the fishermen hurrying across the dam, after which all parties left.

Only the upper body was visible, showing a pointed head and human-like arm swing. The witness sped up and then stopped to look, but the figure had disappeared into open scrub and could not be relocated.

Two girls encountered a tall dark figure at close range in a marshy wooded area near a fence. The figure left quickly while splashing through water, as a nearby cat reacted with alarm and neighboring dogs barked and fled. The witnesses then heard loud imitative barking and cow-like sounds from different directions, followed by faint responses to their own knocks. They went inside and later recounted the events to family and an investigator.

The witness was driving east to work in the early morning when headlights illuminated a large hair-covered biped in the road. The creature crossed from a field into woods on the south side in two quick steps without looking at the vehicle. The witness stopped the truck to look and listen but the creature was out of sight and nothing was heard.

Late at night three companions pulled over by an overgrown archery field to look for deer and noticed green eyeshine wide apart just above tall grass. The source of the eyes stood upright to a great height, looked toward them, then walked into the adjoining woods. After leaving, they returned for a size comparison with a 6-foot companion walking toward the treeline while the others watched from the truck; the figure reappeared, stood up and towered over the companion before leaving into the woods again.
Two deputy sheriffs report hearing possible vocalizations while hog hunting near Poinciana
Two men were hog hunting at night in woods near a lake when they heard a loud deep chuffing sound given four times from several hundred yards away, followed by complete silence of other animals. About an hour later they heard the same sound much louder from about 50 yards away and heard something moving slowly westward along the treeline. They remained frightened and sat back-to-back for the rest of the night and later could not identify the sound.

Two occupants driving south on Highway 19 in the early morning reported seeing a tall brown human-shaped figure at the treeline that moved into the center of the road in front of them. They described it as about eight to nine feet tall with long arms held out and said they braked and narrowly avoided hitting it. They chose not to turn back and continued driving.

The witness reported ongoing activity near a forested home beginning in early spring 2013. During an initial walk in pines, he heard an extremely loud knock that frightened him and later heard whistles from the woods. He also reported finding multiple large and small track sets. In April 2013 the guest took his teenage son camping at a just-opened campground off Highway 14 along the Columbia River. During a daytime walk they found an old large track, opened clam shells out of place, a fresh vine-maple twist tucked behind a fir, an 18-inch footprint beneath it, and several pushed or tossed trees. That night in camp they heard branch-breaking, felt the tarps pulled, heard splashing, felt vibration waves, and heard two wood knocks before leaving exhausted in the morning.

The figure then ran bipedally across the road in a few very long strides and disappeared into woods near a vacant farm. The witness described it as tall, bulky and black with long arms and immediately called the spouse. A later daytime check of the site found no tracks.
