Headlights revealed a wolf/coyote-like animal down the road that then rose onto two legs to about the witness's height. The witness swerved to avoid it, and it lunged toward the tailgate as the truck passed, after which the witness sped to the end of the road and later told relatives who said the creature was known around the lake.
