The object stood up as a very tall, bulky, dark-gray hair-covered figure with long arms and no visible neck, which the dogs greeted excitedly. The figure then moved quickly into the adjacent woods with long bent-legged strides and exaggerated arm swings while both occupants watched in shock without speaking.

The witness was awake alone on the living room couch late at night while younger siblings slept. A very loud, close howling scream outside the window shifted into a gurgling laugh-like sound lasting about 10 seconds and did not repeat. After waiting, the witness searched outside in fresh snow but found the snow totally undisturbed with no tracks to indicate the source.
