While driving west in early evening the witness saw a tall figure standing beside a lone pine on the south side of the road. She perceived a person-like form with a pointed head like a hoodie, assumed masculine because of size. After a couple seconds she glanced for traffic and it was gone, possibly dropping in deep snow. A friend later estimated 12 feet against the tree.

The witness stopped on a road at night to count deer in a field beside the road and noticed a tall light to medium brown figure with a large upper body standing near one deer. Around midnight on January 21, 2017 the witness was making calls from the front porch and received a wood knock response from across the street, which drew the dog into the woods. When the dog went quiet the witness entered the woods, beat on an oak and shouted for the dog, then heard knocks, chest-beating, howls, a bluff charge and a tree pushed over while seeing eyeshine. After the witness told the entity to back away, the dog returned and they went home.

Early one morning while driving to a farm job, the witness stopped at an intersection and saw a tall, emaciated, fur-covered figure holding a tree branch in the headlights. The figure stared at the car, then bared worn and broken teeth when the car moved toward it, before the witness drove past within close range. The witness later interpreted the animal as an elderly, starving individual possibly seeking chickens during severe winter weather.

The witness was cooking outdoors midday with a relative and the property owner when a large hairy figure was seen standing by a tree in a field 300 to 400 yards away watching them. While standing in the lit parking lot near the car to smoke, the witness had pebbles tossed precisely at the feet and heard occasional bird-like whistling. After throwing a large rock back, whistling erupted aggressively from a rocky hillside at the tree line where a flashlight showed nothing. The witness then heard heavy trudging and saw saplings shaking as something moved uphill to about two hundred feet within seconds.

On the night of April 18, 2020 the witness was at home when a dog began barking persistently and a loud guttural growl was heard at the back door, also noticed by a cat. After waking her husband, who saw nothing from the back door, the witness called the dog from the front door and saw it react toward the back of the property. Looking from a guest-room window, she then watched a huge dark figure moving quickly across the neighbor's pasture to the northwest.

Returning late at night to find the front door open, the witness stepped onto the deck and saw a huge hairy figure emerge and growl. The witness fled inside and later moved away within weeks.

The witness and family were sleeping in a cabin when an extremely foul odor came in through an open window, prompting the witness to close the window and turn off a fan. The teller's uncle walking his dog found a line of large human-like footprints in light snow dust on an old rail-trail through a large gun-club property. The teller came and measured 14 to 15 inch tracks in single-file heel-to-toe with a very long stride for 20 to 25 prints. The trackway doubled back and left into a cornfield where snow ended.

The witness brought youth cadets to a large private property near Tenino for an overnight field training camp. After ignoring loud knocks on the first night, the group was awakened around 1 a.m. on the second night by a prolonged, multi-toned yell that felt physically powerful, followed by knocks from the opposite tree line and rocks thrown into camp. Armed staff held a perimeter until the woods fell silent and the air felt lighter, then broke camp at sunrise and left without ever seeing the source.
