While serving as OPFOR team leader, the guest camped with four soldiers on a hilltop at Fort Lewis. They awoke to live gunfire and powerful roars that made three men ill, then approached to find special-operations personnel standing over two shot Sasquatch bodies. After the female died before them, the team was removed, threatened with prosecution if they spoke, and later found the site cleared.
UFO sighting near Monterey, California (1996)
The witness accompanied his teenage daughter to a downtown cemetery where she was taking night photos for a class. They watched two orange spheres detach from a meteor-like streak, reappear over a nearby ball field and pass overhead, followed by three bright lights that became a large silent triangular craft passing low overhead before vanishing. Afterward they attempted to report the sighting to police, the airport tower, and a UFO reporting center.
Scream near John Day, Oregon (1996)
Two companions on a week-long bow-hunting trip heard a long, loud scream-howl from a ridge across the logging road about half a mile away after other visitors left. The dog cowered in the tent while the men retrieved shotguns and stayed awake until early morning. They ruled out known animals and concluded it was likely a Sasquatch, though over the next few days they tried to rationalize it and continued hunting.

The witness and a companion were parked by a river around midnight under a full moon. The witness stepped a short distance from the car and heard movement in the grass and brush. A tall, broad-shouldered hairy silhouette emerged and faced the witness for several seconds. The witness fled to the car and the pair left the area.
Paranormal encounter near Nealsville, Wisconsin (1996)
Four young men drove late at night to find a reputedly haunted mansion and nearby infant grave. Two of them approached an iron-gated house that appeared well-kept and spoke with a very old woman in historic clothing who held a candle and gave directions using wagon trails. After hearing loud infant crying at the grave site, they drove past the house again and found it dilapidated and overgrown, though the woman with the candle could still be seen inside. The group fled and never discussed the night together again.

In July 1997 while riding a mountain bike alone, the witness heard a loud crashing noise like a large branch being broken. When the witness turned toward the sound it went silent, which the witness interpreted as something hiding rather than moving away like an elk would.

The witness and two friends snuck into a fenced stormwater tunnel project at night and then drove toward a dead-end road where a parked car sat. They saw a tall black figure crouched behind the car, illuminated it, watched it stand and then disappear near a fence. They searched the open field with a spotlight, found nothing, and later told the witness's father.
Sasquatch sighting in Maine (1996)
The teenage guest was riding overnight in his uncle's semi-truck in Maine. He saw a dark person-shaped silhouette come from a marsh and run toward the truck, then cross directly in front of it blocking the windshield. His uncle braked hard and sped away terrified, later saying the being looked at him with cold dark eyes and had gray-toned skin.

The witness was riding with two friends at night when a large hairy creature came out of a ditch on all fours in front of the car. It paused to look toward the headlights, then bounded across the road and up an embankment with unusually fast, skittering movement. The witness recalls seeing a large charcoal-gray human-like foot as it left.
Observations by locals along the San Juan River
The witness reports a large hairy thing that walks along the San Juan River onto the reservation and is known to local residents. The thing is said to smell strongly, make loud noises that set dogs howling, and appear every few years near the witness home about an eighth-mile from the river. Residents avoid going down to the river because of its presence.
Sounds heard answered by another more distant source
The witness reports hearing loud cries from west of the home over a period from early 1996 to mid-1998, always late at night. Each cry was answered by a more distant cry, and on one night the sound was close enough to wake the witness from sleep. No visual encounter is described; the witness says the sounds matched recordings presented on a television program about Bigfoot investigation.
Sighting by two young men on motorcycles
While riding motorcycles, two people stopped to rest and noticed a large bipedal figure across a valley. They watched it stand, move about on two feet, and then sit on a stump. They did not approach it and left the area.
Night time harassment of Army patrol on the west edge of Ft. Stewart, 5 miles NE of Glennville
Six soldiers on a night recon patrol through swamp heard an unseen presence following and circling them closely for 10-15 minutes, weaving between them even after they split into two groups. Later two soldiers in ambush position heard a loud scream-roar twice, followed by the sound of a large rotten tree falling and brush breaking. The sounds then stopped and the presence was heard leaving.

The witness, his father, and a companion camped in a truck-camper at a riverside camp where a caged rabbit was placed as bait with glowsticks and spotlights for night watching. During the first night, the father and companion reported seeing the top of a creature's head moving outside, then the witness looked out and encountered a dark head shape within a foot of his face. Later the witness and companion both reported seeing a large five-fingered hand pass across the rabbit cage, and a brief dark shape was recorded on video when lights were switched on.
Sasquatch sighting in Florida (1995)
The witness and a hunting partner were returning from a Thanksgiving morning rifle hunt and unloading vehicles by a fire trail. They watched a tall lanky reddish-orange hair-covered figure walk into palmettos, followed by a shorter jet-black hair-covered female with a large belly and visible breasts that stopped, reacted to being seen, then ran bowlegged into the same cover clutching its midsection. The witness interpreted the belly as possible pregnancy or an infant clinging the same color as the mother. A third driver behind them also claimed to have scoped hair-covered figures, and check-station staff and family members reacted with disbelief.
Daylight sighting by a hunter east of Alberta Hwy 22, near Hwy 532
The witness was hunting deer on a snow-covered hillside when several trees were seen shaking in the distance. A black human-like figure emerged and ran upright down the steep slope waving its arms overhead, covering the distance in about ten seconds. The witness first assumed it was a person trying to disrupt the hunt, but after revisiting the site doubted a person could have shaken the trees or run that fast in deep snow.
Recollection of a college outing interrupted by possible vocalizations and rocks thrown near Rawley Springs
A large college group camped late at night in a remote, densely wooded rocky area. After midnight they heard large rocks being thrown into and around a nearby stream and loud wailing, howling and grunting sounds that grew closer when the camp was loud and receded when quiet. After confirming all members were present, most of the group left early while about 10-15 stayed quietly until dawn as the sounds grew more distant.
Daytime sightings by hunters near Headwaters Ridge in Elliot State Forest
On the fourth day of an elk hunt, the witness stopped on a ridgeline trail and watched a large upright brown figure across a ravine. The figure walked on two legs, then sat on a downed alder with its back to the witness, swinging its legs and appearing to pick foliage for about 30 minutes while the witness watched through binoculars and a rifle scope and whistled to get its attention. The witness then left up the ridge without approaching and rejoined the hunting party at the vehicles.

The witness was bow hunting from a tree stand at dusk near a swampy dead-end road when he heard something climb down a tree and walk toward him. At about 10 to 15 yards he saw an upright, entirely black figure walking bipedally and swinging its arms. He shined a flashlight and whistled, the figure stopped, and when he looked again it was gone without sound; his companion at the truck reported seeing no one.
Deer hunters have frightening nightime encounter near White Plains
Late at night while camping for deer season, a companion who walked over a hill to a creek reported seeing a tall figure drinking that then stood and watched him, prompting him to run back to camp. Moments later the rest of the group heard loud crashing through brush and saw the silhouette of a very large human-shaped figure with long arms running hunched over on the hilltop by moonlight and lamplight. The group then packed up and left the woods.
