While bike riding with a friend on separate routes, the witness waited where a bike trail met the main road. He heard a tree break in muskeg with stunted pines, then loud whooshing like large wings flapping, which paused and resumed as his friend approached on a bike. He interpreted the sounds as a thunderbird and noted they had no speakers or electricity to explain it.

While the witness rode as passenger around 2 a.m., the car stopped and a tall gaunt pale humanoid crossed the road on all fours in headlights. While living at this home the witness repeatedly heard triple whoops at night from woods across the street near cattle ponds. During the day he several times heard a single loud whack like something hitting a tree with no other work sounds. He did not connect them to Bigfoot until years later after hearing about whoops and tree knocks.
Family has encounter with two creatures while camping at Molalla River
While camping with family, the witness and a sibling were coloring outside when they saw two bipedal figures, one larger and one smaller, dart behind trees. The witness fled to the car and then saw one figure crouching in bushes staring toward the mother. After a young sibling retrieved a BB gun, the figure turned and ran into the woods on two feet.
Tracks/hair found near waterhole
The witness was inspecting a fenced spring used to water cattle when they found very large footprints in mud and pine duff. They compared the prints to their own shoe, stride, and impression depth to estimate a very tall, heavy maker, and kept tufts of black hair found at the site. They followed the trail uphill until dense undergrowth made them uncomfortable, then returned to a relative's home without seeing the animal.

Two people riding motorcycles stopped to rest and looked across a valley. They claimed they saw a tall animal with very wide shoulders moving on two legs, which stood up, walked around, and then sat on a stump. They did not approach it and left the area.

Walking home alone at night, the witness felt fear and heard footsteps from the woods matching his own steps and stopping when he stopped. After he paused to listen, something took two steps closer off the trail and he perceived a clear mental image of a Sasquatch-like male. He fled running back to his friends, who then drove down to look.

A violently shaken tree dropped leaves and revealed a red-haired pregnant orang-like figure twenty feet up that stared at him. Four people in a car rounded a corner, stopped, and watched a creature cross a hay field. The creature was described as about 7 to 8 feet tall and dark brown, and it looked toward the group while walking. The witnesses observed it from an estimated 75 to 100 yards away.

The figure was described as human-sized, covered in very dark shaggy hair, hunched with arms hanging low, standing on two feet. As they drove past it disappeared into the surrounding forest and could not be seen when the witness looked back.

Two companions were sitting on the porch of a rarely used hunting cabin at night after a noisy day of target shooting. They heard a loud, persistent, unfamiliar vocalization from across the hollow that seemed to move behind the camp over 15-20 minutes. They retired inside with no further incident, and a next-day search found no tracks or other sign.

Two people were walking on a gravel road at night when they noticed a large dark object ahead. As they approached, it rose from a crouch revealing a very tall black furry figure that they watched for about 20 seconds. The figure then walked into the adjacent woods, and the pair fled the area.

The witness and her young son were sleeping on the first floor to escape the heat. The son woke the witness saying a strange being was watching him. The son later said a picture on a Bigfoot website matched what he saw, described as having red eyes and bent over with hands on knees. The witness did not see it herself and asked if other reports existed in the area.

About two decades ago a woman washing dishes at night saw a large hairy-faced man looking through the window above her sink. Police were called and during the subsequent search an officer saw a tall man-like figure run across a highway. Very large tracks with a long stride were found but dogs could not track anything and the figure vanished into river bottoms. A later visitor examined a cast and said weight distribution argued against a fake shoe.
