Three teenagers were fishing and cooling off in a creek when something crashed down the steep hillside, threw a rock between them and screamed and roared. They scrambled to the bank and saw a large hairy human-like creature at close range making a display, tearing up ground and showing its teeth. They fled, leaving all their gear, and never returned.

About 1998 the witness was driving west with two companions when they saw cars swerving ahead. In the headlights they watched a large dark-haired biped take a very long step across the road, cross a canal and continue onto a golf course. The two hunters arrived late and set up camp and a tree stand in darkness in a hollow bottom. One hunter returned alone to retrieve a phone and heard pacing footsteps, a very loud voice repeating a name, and a laugh, then saw a huge dark shape in tall weeds and fired twice before fleeing. Both hunters were then circled for hours by fast-moving unseen things that stayed out of flashlight range, threw out a poisoned hot dog that was quickly taken by something running on two legs that coughed like a person, and found the heavy welded stand ripped from the tree in the morning.

The witness and the witness's brother were canoeing past a sloping shoreline when they noticed what they thought was a black bear drinking. It walked a few steps on all fours, then stood up like a man and walked into the woods without acknowledging them. They dismissed it at the time as a bear sighting and later discussed how human-like and upright it looked.

In summer 1998 around dusk, the witness and a friend were sitting at a picnic table in a wooded lakeside picnic area when they saw three brownish creatures of different sizes emerge from the treeline near the lake about 40 to 50 feet away. The teenage volunteer and his younger cousin were biking and then walking a dense trail toward a waterfall when they smelled decay and heard rustling. A reddish-brown hairy arm reached through thick brush very close to the witness and snapped off a limb, showing a human-like hand. Both fled immediately, later told the foreman, and returned the next day to recover the bikes but found no tracks due to rocky ground.

The witness and his brother were camping on a ridge trail during a multi-day hunting and camping trip. Late at night they heard something large approaching through low brush on two feet with very long strides. They jumped out of the tent with a rifle and spotlight but saw nothing despite clear visibility. They fired a shot for safety and got little sleep.

The witness and family were playing ping-pong in the walk-out basement when the witness let the dog into the backyard. The dog barked and backed away from the neighbor's fence line, where the witness saw the moonlit silhouette of a tall figure's head above the fence. After watching briefly, the witness saw the figure duck, turn toward a ravine, and leave silently. The witness later interpreted the figure as possibly Bigfoot based on its height relative to the fence.

In 2004 the witness was watching television in an outdoor covered porch at night and turned it off after hearing a noise. A very loud screaming roar was then heard close in front of the house, sounding three times while apparently moving along the driveway, with the last call ending in sounds like mimicked dog barks. The witness's parents also heard the sounds and nearby dogs reacted strongly.

While camping, three people waded across a flooded creek after climbing a nearby peak and noticed a set of blurred, fuzzy-edged footprints on the far side that had not been present an hour earlier. The prints were roughly human-foot sized. Later that evening they discussed the find around a campfire with a passing patrol agent, who said similar prints were known locally as Little Foot.

The witness and a relative were waiting in dense brush while bugling for elk when they heard approaching knocking, rustling and vocal sounds and noticed a strong unpleasant odor. They left the hiding spot as crashing sounds followed them uphill. Other members of the hunting party later said they had seen a figure walking on the hill where the pair had not been. The group later returned to the site and found unusual scat.

The witness and a companion were parked in a truck at a mountain road landing late at night and watched a wild boar rooting in snow. After the boar fled, an upright figure appeared at the tree line, stood over the boar's spot, and was then illuminated by high beams. The figure blocked the light, showed glowing eyes, grunted, crossed the road in three strides, grabbed a sapling and disappeared uphill, leaving a strong odor.

The witness was driving on I-5 past Rice Hill on a dark, rainy Sunday night with high beams on. They saw a figure sitting on the roadside embankment in a fetal-like posture and made eye contact from less than 20 yards away. As the car passed, the figure stood up very tall and walked away north along the interstate, convincing the witness it was not a stranded person.

The witness was hunting with his son in a wooded area in the early morning when strange sounds came from a nearby gully. The sounds started like a woman screaming and were followed by rapid chatter likened to reversed human-like conversation. The witness said the sounds were unfamiliar despite prior experience with local wildlife in the area.

The witness and a companion were four-wheeling late at night when their headlights caught a shaggy red-haired creature in the road. It had apparently been squatting in the road, then moved quickly across on all fours while starting to straighten toward two legs before leaving the light. Both witnesses felt it was not a bear, cat, or other known animal due to its color, narrow torso, and human-like body shape.
