The witness and a relative were wood-knocking in the backyard at night. After the witness knocked five times, they heard a high-pitched chatter from one direction and a grumbling sound from another direction for about a minute. Additional knocking produced no further response that evening.

The witness was driving out of a condo complex around 2:30 a.m. to drive home. The truck headlights illuminated a very tall figure walking north through a field beside the road. The witness watched its side profile as it moved quickly with long swinging arms and did not react to the lights. After turning onto the main road, the witness looked back and could no longer see it.

The witness was camped alone in a car at night when a loud knock-like sound was heard from 75 to 100 yards to the west. About an hour later, a brief scream-like yell was heard from the north, described as coming from height and sounding strangely feminine. The witness considered but could not match the sounds to known wildlife. No visual contact or physical traces were reported.

The witness was sunbathing alone on a log at the brushy end of a lake in the mid-afternoon. A very loud, sustained howl rising from low to high pitch was heard at very close range, ending in a hoop-like sound, followed by silence. The witness saw nothing in the dense brush, quickly dressed, and hiked back to the vehicle while repeatedly looking back.

The witness and spouse were in their bedroom with the window open late at night when they heard prolonged howls from a distance. The howls repeated over several minutes and prompted neighborhood dogs to bark. The couple said the sound did not match familiar wildlife and later felt it closely resembled a howl sample on a website.

Six people were camping and talking late at night when they heard distant moaning howls that grew closer and more aggressive over about an hour, accompanied by branch-breaking sounds close behind camp. They turned on vehicle headlights, after which the sounds stopped, and they slept in their vehicles. The next morning they found several large pine and fir branches broken behind the camp.

The witness was camping with a companion in a yurt at Lake Selmac Campground. In the morning the witness stepped outside and noticed a strong rotten-garbage odor with no visible source. About half an hour later both people heard a very loud, unfamiliar vocalization that the witness associated with a Sasquatch.

The witness and their brother heard a loud vocalization while eating dinner at camp. They described it as a long, very loud howl ending in a whoop. Their dogs hid silently behind a log and other animals went quiet. The two briefly searched the woods with a handgun and spotlight but could not see into the dense forest, then returned to enlarge the campfire.

The witness woke in camp about 4:00 and heard four loud sustained howls from the east side of camp, which were answered by coyotes from the west side. The witness noted a significant difference in pitch and timber between the first howls and the coyotes, after which all went quiet. Two relatives in camp also indicated they heard the sounds.

The witness was driving west on a highway in the afternoon when he noticed a stationary stocky figure covered in reddish long hair standing beyond a fallow field in front of woods. He saw only the upper body and head for about three seconds before a bank and foliage blocked the view. His companion was asleep and saw nothing, and he was unable to stop or return to the location.

The witness was riding at the back of a large group of ATVs at night through a muddy, wooded trail. As he approached a large tree, he made eye contact with a tall, muscular, hair-covered figure pressed flat against the tree with its hands on the trunk. After a stare lasting about 15 seconds, the witness rode past within a few feet, looked back, and saw the figure take one quick step and disappear into the darkness.

The witness was jogging north on a prairie trail in daylight when they saw a large furry figure walking ahead with its back to them. As they approached, the figure looked larger and hair-covered, then went around a bend near a stream and retention pond. The witness continued ahead but found no one on the trail, and on the return looked into a dark opening by a fence near the water before leaving.

The witness was riding in the back seat of a car traveling west in the early morning. After noticing a strong rotten-egg and wet-dog odor, the witness saw a large dark hair-covered figure standing by a palm 300-500 yards away and facing the road. The view lasted only a few seconds before roadside trees blocked it. After turning around and returning, the figure was gone but a strange smell lingered.

Two brothers were camping overnight in a popup camper while on a grouse hunting trip. In the middle of the night the camper was shaken several times, prompting one witness to go outside with a flashlight. He heard something walking in the timber but saw nothing when he shone the light, then after returning inside heard a series of loud whoops from a distance.

The witness awoke in a truck at a forest campsite around dawn and briefly saw a dark figure run between a tent and a parked vehicle. She first thought it was a companion, but the companion was elsewhere in camp and moved more slowly. The figure was visible only for a fraction of a second from the torso up and was not seen again. No footprints were found afterward despite wet ground.

The witness was lying down to sleep at home in the early morning when a series of loud vocalizations was heard from nearby woods. The sounds included a distant deep call, loud siren-like screams, and chattering with tongue-clicking, while neighboring dogs barked during parts of the sequence. The sounds faded and returned as if the source moved deeper into the woods and back before leaving for the last time.

The witness and a companion were hiking back to their car after visiting a mine. After hearing a nearby gunshot followed by silence, they left the road for a parallel route. Minutes later both heard a loud, primal-sounding drawn-out yell they felt could not be human. They quickened their pace to the car with nothing else seen or heard.

The witness and two teenagers hiked in and made camp for the night. Starting about 2100 they heard repeated high-pitched whoops, first from the north and later from the south, continuing intermittently into the night. No animals, people, or tracks were seen during the stay or hike out.
